Dortmund are just a stepping stone. He’ll be over here in a few years and is going to be a great player. Well he already is but he will only get better

All about Raiola - Bloke is an absolute bastard of an Agent to deal with

No his portfolio is getting larger what with a few Man Utd players signed up now

Although if he can sell Lingard to a top team I'll take everything back I've said about him

    Bloke would be a genius

Haaland is a monster. Off the bench and scores a hat-trick in 22 minutes.

Raiola knew what he was doing. If Haaland signed for a big premier league team he gets a big cut.
if he signs for Dortmund now then a premier league team in 18 months time he gets a big cut twice.

dortmund as a stepping stone rather than THE move is more money for the agent. Simple.

Sub again for Dortmund tonight and bought on after 65 minutes

2 more goals in the final 25 minutes

So that's 5 goals in 60 minutes he has played in the Bundersliga.

Couple of years and he will be the best striker in the world

United pretty much refused to deal with him and his demands.

Apparently the only reason he signed for Dortmund was because they agreed to insert a really low release clause fee of €60m in the deal. Haaland is already worth that, so i'd guess he'll only be there until the end of next season at the most before he's off again, and therefore Raiola cashes in again.

If that release clause is that and so low as well then, if he continues to score goals this season, someone has to come in in the summer for him, would be stupid not to at that price

    wow
  • Mad how Dortmund have probably both of the 2 best under 20 players in the world right now. And cost them only 30m combined.

Dortmund have maybe the best recruitment in world football.

Even when they pay ‘big’ like they did on Halaand it always seems to come off.

The thing with Haaland is if it wasn't for his agent there is no way he would have ended at Dortmund in Jan.

He would be at Real or in the prem but no way would Raiola allow that this window lol, he wanted the move to Dortmund now then the big move in a year to 18 months so he gets alot more money

By the time Sancho and Haaland leave, Dortmund will have made over 200m profit on the 2 of them and Dembele. Incredible transfer work.

  • To be fair Dortmund’s away record in Der Klassiker could rival our record vs Millwall.

    15/16: 5-1 Munich
    16/17: 4-1 Munich
    17/18: 6-0 Munich
    18/19: 5-0 Munich
    19/20: 4-0 Munich
    Improving last 3 years.

    2024/25 is their year.

Interestingly Bundesliga seem to have set a return date and just need it to be signed off now by the appropriate authorities

Reckon other leagues will follow soon

And where does that leave lower league clubs. how many of them could afford to arrange football games in front of empty stadiums.

Germany is in a very different place with their virus compared to the UK, Italy, or Spain, for example. I still struggle to see those other leagues restarting anytime soon. Also, given this still needs sign-off from officials, I'm wondering just how much of a done deal it is.
