Very small article thats surrounded by attempts to get you to sign up to Valley Pass (Surely only one advert to get you to do this would be enough) - Going to be a big season for Karlan, have a good feeling that he'll be successful with his involvementclive said:https://www.cafc.co.uk/news/view/5b55ee7c0e978/bowyer-praises-academy-graduate-grant-following-crawley-friendly-victory

Thread title needs to be amended to Karlan Grant @Admin3

Was thrown in too early, shouldn’t have played for our first team as much as he has.clive said:https://www.cafc.co.uk/news/view/5b55ee7c0e978/bowyer-praises-academy-graduate-grant-following-crawley-friendly-victory

After his successful loan at Crawley and with us being in League 1 this will hopefully be the first year he can make a proper impact in our first team.4 -
I presume the change in name is to try and keep his reputation away from the allegations on google but surely he knows that Karlan Grant isn’t that common a name so it’ll still appear anyway. Is he still facing trial?0

Getting closer and closer to Kim Grant.
Which isn’t a good thing.6 -
To be fair, as Bowyer said, he’s never really had a chance to play up front.
Not since he first broke through anyway3 - Sponsored links:

Could be a number of reason.
Maybe his parents split so he dropped 1 of there names.
Maybe and this is a big maybe, but maybe when all this happened 1 of his parents supported him and the other didnt so thats why he dropped Ahearne.
We will never know, unless he tells us all1 -
maybe he's Diego Poyet?paulie8290 said:

He’s been awesome this season. Master stroke by Bowyer to send him to Crawley second half of last year.3

Not exactly a master stroke. You send a player on loan, it's up to the player to perform.
Pretty sure Grant has admitted that the penny finally dropped and he realised it was time to buck his ideas up and that if he didn't perform for a league 2 club, then his career was going to take a nosedive from there on.1 - Sponsored links:

He’s done sooooo much better than I thought he would , long may it continue7

Grant is a goal scorer but goal scoring is a habit and you are either banging them in from all angles or you lose your edge, it’s as simple as that. Going to Crawley and finding the back of the net a few time gave him back that habit.0

A lad I worked with was on Tottenhams books and knew Grant well. He always reckoned he’d come good, pure confidence player.4

I hope he's ok , gutting to loose 2 strikers in one game, will maybe mean Reeco won't get loaned out now?0

The odd thing was, he actually started scoring for us at the time he went on loan.Chris_from_Sidcup said:Not exactly a master stroke. You send a player on loan, it's up to the player to perform.

A master stroke might have been to abandon playing one up front and play Grant in his natural position next to another forward.

If we'd had KAG (on this form) and Taylor last season, we'd have gone up in the top 2.0

Ifs and buts, Grant might not have hit the ground running without the loan. Looks like the loan spell has given him the confidence to do regularlywmcf123 said:If we'd had KAG (on this form) and Taylor last season, we'd have gone up in the top 2.
