Supporting Charlton is becoming so boringly predictable and I can already see another disappointingly average season unfolding before our eyes.
Also Robinson banging on about how great we'll be when Marshall and Reeves are fit didn't take into account other injuries to our main players such as Magennis and Holmes which, given that they both suffered last year, is not exactly unlikely. And the likes of Kashi and Solly should not be playing two games a week either and I fully expect Pearce will be the first of a few knocks if he keeps playing the same team every game. Alas his hands are well and truly tied and this squad is unbalanced and, I hope I eat these words, ultimately not good enough to get out of this league.
Dan Agyei's late goal salvaged Walsall's unbeaten League Two record at the Bescot Stadium this season in a frenetic final few minutes in the 2-2 draw with Charlton.
Absolutely shocking defending on that first goal and Bauer rolled far too easily for their equaliser. He needs to be much stronger or at the very least take the bloke out.
Missing chances again. Nothing on the bench again.
Feel like a stuck record but will say it again the squad is way too thin and the lack of options up front criminal. Clearly Tarbuck is starting to think what most of us think about Dodoo IE he is crap.
Do wonder whether we could do with a defensive coach. We are brittle as hell and conceed very similar goals. No pressure on the crosser and then static in the box.
Can't see us getting anything from Fleetwood and we'll struggle big time against Peterborough with Magennis and Da Silva missing.
Pearce out for so long is a huge blow. He was behind what little organisation we did have at the back.
Unless Roly rolls the dice in January we will stumble into midtable again.

In services on the way home and posting without reading.
We were pony first 10 mins and just as I was starting to think whether leaving 80 mins early was ok their player broke free one on one with Amos and managed to tread on the ball stopping himself in his tracks, we go up the other end and it is one nil. Then we play some decent footy for 20 mins or so and Magennis really should have put us two up.
DaSilva and Holmes both followed the ball our wide, allowing the doubled up player all the space in the world to curl a lovely ball into our box for them to equalise. 1-1 half time felt fair.
Come out in second half and we were rubbish. Only one team were going to win. So disappointing to have your team shoot in your direction and be so close to the pitch and see so little action. Then we pinch it in the 87th minute with a beauty from Holmes. Celebrated like crazy and nipped off to beat the traffic before the game finished. Good win despite a poor performance.
Sadly the last 2 sentences above are not true, if only! Walsall gifted too much time on the ball again score a nice goal.
I think the trouble with having a manager who lacks backbone is that he has assembled a team in his likeness. Our midfield gets overrun. I don't get Forster Caskey, not a tackle in him, so lightweight. Fosu, despite his goal is hopelessly weak. No one is anywhere near Magennis and we tap it across the back 4 so much the opposition always has shape before we get anywhere. We will lose goals this season from under hit passes and passes across the back line by Kashi who sits far too deep. Even Solly has forgotten how to tackle, can't remember the last time I saw a trade mark effort from him.
We rarely cut out crosses and opposition teams cut through our midfield.
Worrying times, hopefully the two injured lads are back soon and add something as we are drifting badly.
The only two positives were Holmes goal and work paying my petrol !
We were shit, Started off brightly, got the goal, should have made it 2 but Maginnes missed a sitter. Did absolutely sod all in the second half until Holmes scored that screamer and for 20 seconds after that I thought to myself maybe we are a top 6 team, play crap and get the points then bang its 2-2. Overall we were shit and if we cant be crap like Gillingham, Bury and Walsall then we are in for a long hard season.
Been saying even before the Wigan defeat the longer we play the same team week in week we will begin to struggle. Squads to thin, the only way we may kick on again is if Marshall and Reeves come in and make a difference straight away, as well as the others all staying fit as well but cant see that happening somehow.
Only Silver lining was I got Ricky Holmes shirt for Choices boy, top bloke for coming over when I called him to ask for his shirt.
Out of sight at Wallsall... Can someone remind me of our chances... Both goals, Magennis missed sitter... What else. I have a habit of forgetting but can't honestly remember any other clear cut chances-their goalie had to save a couple of long rangers but nothing that was not straight forward.
We let in two goals, Amos made 2-3 sprawling saves and the shortest bloke on the pitch missed a free header as did their CB from a corner plus their striker trod on the ball when clean through on our goal.
One more thing to add then gonna take the dog on a walk and make some work calls:
We lack confidence but also just a bit of dumb luck. We've conceded two 25-yard top corner curlers in the last two games. Tonight's could have been defended better, we could have played better, but on another night it goes wide and we win. It's the sort of thing that happens when you're not playing well and you lack confidence.
I think we can say the same about several of our goals though, swings and roundabouts.
PWR or maybe PWC ( posting without caring) after a 4+ hour journey home with numerous diversions and finally thick fog. One word comes into my throbbing old head.....
BOLLARDS !!!!!
So, just a brief few words on tonight's game before several hours in the arms of Morpheus erases those less than happy memories.
Yet another disappointing performance from the boys in blue - it's now becoming a habit to post those words - and TBH, a somewhat flattering result for the Addicks.
We should have had the game in the bag, zipped up and stowed away but this is Charlton and a bad miss in front of the sparsely populated home end left us just the one goal to the good.....and we know that's never enough.
And so to the inevitable equaliser before half time followed by the rejuvenated Saddlers leaving our boys in their wake as they came out with a vengeance after the break. Only one team was going to win this and they were wearing the red shirts...
Enter the one player capable of turning a game on its head with a wonder goal ! Oh for a team of Ricky Holmes/es ! Victory snatched from the jaws of defeat, or even a draw ! How we celebrated !
But no sooner had we retaken our seats in anticipation of a happy conclusion when zoot alors ! The sucker punch that no-one had seen coming ( least of all our defence ) reduced the away end to silence....
2 points out of the last 12 on offer...is that promotion form ? Why are we conceding goals & failing to keep clean sheets ? Why do we pass the ball, tippy tappy around the back 4, failing to get it forward until it's had a good old touch by all concerned ? And why is KAG the best option we can bring on when all else is failing ?
So many questions. Tonight, yet again we faced a mid table type outfit that wanted the 3 points seemingly more than we did. Like the Gills, they ran their socks off, competing all over the pitch, chasing every ball whilst we stood off when they had possession, time after time. And yet again, KR refuses to think laterally & put 2 up front regardless of the lack of options available to him. Points lost against honest, hard working teams such as the one we saw tonight will come back to haunt us unless something changes very soon. 3 goals for Fleetwood tonight, boys .....
I'm really unsure whether KR is the man for the job - the man to turn this around and give us the flowing, attacking football we witnessed at the start of the season. The injury to Pearcey is indeed a blow but I thought Konsa did OK tonight & must only get better with a run in the team. When Marshall & Reeves are declared fit for action the squad SHOULD get a much needed boost but they won't be match fit so perhaps we shouldn't expect too much too soon.
Oh well, on to Fleetwood in 3 days time, more with hope than expectation yet again. Some one has to do it !
Trying hard to keep the faith....but it's becoming more & more difficult.
7th in this pub league isn’t the end of the world , if we can just sort our defence , attack and midfield out we’ll win the league . If getting a point against Walsall doesn’t get your juices flowing then Charlton Athletic may not be the answer . 263 legends made the midweek trip to Walsall , we had more at the newish ground Crawley for that Johnny competition, says it all about the enthusiasm mustered by our seasons start .
Terrible second half - yes, should have been out of sight before their first goal, but we weren't. So it doesn't matter. A classic moment from Ricky Holmes nearly gave us what by then was a thoroughly undeserved win, but we weren't even good enough to bank that. They had their misses too.
Most of the evening there was as much of an atmosphere as a reserve game, which is not all about the poor Charlton turnout. Can't help the players.
Thought before the game that Robinson desperately needed to win one of the two away games with Peterborough due on an international weekend and that's still the case. Otherwise there's a real risk of going seven without a win.
Morning All. Well we are all laughing at Palarse. We need to get are own in house problems sorted out first. I will be totally honest we are absolutely DIRE. When have we become Arsenal all these litttback heels side words passes. There first goal was a little cheeky a flick at near post. I thought Walsall out played us second half. Amazing goal from Holmes. Kind gesture from josh to give his shirt to the fan who got hit by the ball. If you are reading this I hope you are ok. CARD I really hope you have something planned because I can't bear seeing this club ripped apart anymore. To all the fans that think the owners have changed and we are going to be a top 6 club. Please give me the number of your drug dealer. Met a few old faces last night. Was going to go to Fleetwood but changed my mind. I go to Oxford instead.
They doubled up on Holmes again, we had no clue in the final third of the pitch. Good at faffing about with it in the middle side ways passing etc.
When we missed all of the chances at the start I said to my bro that we will now be lucky for a draw, thats football! It happens to us every week.
Still I thought we were lucky to get a draw, so its a point at least.
If we can keep clean sheets I do think we will climb the table. There is no point going mental every time we draw or lose, you will end up in an early grave!

100% Roland Out

Anyway large let's hope for a defeat Saturday, and if were 12 points behind we can have a bigger laugh
Can't tell you how appreciated it is by those of us not there. Thanks a lot guys
I'm sick of Roland and have no faith in KR as a manager. The way we're playing I'll be happy with mid-table at the end of the season.
All I need now is for someone to tell me this is just a blip.....
