Stunned

At the number of people who have returned to The Valley today, as if nothing has gone on & it's all fine now.

  • How many times do we have to say this,
Support the team not the regime. I was there to cheer on Karl and the boys today

One & the same, unless you got in for free - did you pay money to see the game today?

That was the gate v Northampton for our first league game last season.

Approx 1500 less than today but a few more Bristol Rovers

    Certainly did.
  • So first game of the season and someone is already looking to have a dig at fellow fans. Didn't take long.

We won today, can't you just enjoy it?

I paid to get in and I will probably pay to get in in two weeks time. I'm leaving the country indefinitely in a couple of weeks and I don't know when I will get my next chance to go.

    Roland out.

Was attendance v Swindon last league game.

A thousand less but again more Rovers there.

Not sure why you are stunned or why you need to dig out others fans.

We get this from both "sides" who claim they are "real" and the "others" aren't and both are equally wrong.

    We're all fans.

    Btw good win today.

I was stunned by the sight of the large hairy arse on display in the shop window after the game.

    Well done that man.

Might as well go now and hope he gets fed up.

Not going now could well be doing more damage than good

I was stunned at how well we played today. With ten men. For 85 minutes. It also filled my heart with hope to hear the crowd as one getting BEHIND THE TEAM to get the win. And in the 25th anniversary since returning to the Valley I am willing to give the regime a chance to learn from failure.

You are so out of touch mate. The team and Robbo are not the enemy.

But paying to watch them at home legitimises Duchatelet.
  • Fantastic atmosphere. Not toxic at all, with everyone pulling in the same direction very refreshing

I have given Douchbag and meire plenty of stick on here over the last few years and I've been flagged for going over the top.
But we have just started a new season with the best set of players we have had for a while and we have started with a win.
Let's just enjoy the moment and hope it continues, there will be plenty of opportunities later on in the season to start moaning if things are not going to plan

Support the team not regime has always been the cry of those that were never going to do anything to rid the club of the scum. The two are so clearly inseparable.

You may well be correct. But there is a wave of support for Robbo and the team.

Fuck him. It is our team.

Why aren't we supporting them away? 2 birds 1 stone...

We won with 10 men. The crowd was noisy, the football on display was good.
If you don't want to go then fine but really no need to dig people out who want to watch their team

I bloody loved it today......there's a good vibe
