I'm sorry but what a useless protest other than making the club pay for extra stewarding and police. Why not get the game cancelled?
Edit: To explain my view further, we have done better protests before and this is meant to be the #EndGame
Young Joshrew, Please pray tell me what your protesting exploits have been recently?
I'm just saying that we've had better protests before, this was bigged up to be larger than it was.
"More of the same tomorrow" was commented by many on here after Orient yesterday. Hardly more of the same.
You havnt answered the question, which was.......
"tell me what your protesting exploits have been recently?"
Are you unable to answer because they are zero ?
Read again I've edited. Also relax mate, doubt you've made the headline for your individual protesting either. One man can't make the difference.
I've read your edited post. So, it looks like you've done nothing or very little re protesting.
I was going to start by slagging you off, but i've decided that you've clearly made a bit of an idiot of yourself by your comments. Let me just say, that there are a relatively small dedicated number of people who spend a huge amount of time, planning, effort, and money both in UK and Belgium trying to create ideas and protests attempting to try to persuade our illustrious leader to extracate himself from our club, most work, some dont.
Then, there are people like you, who come on here, who has by the sounds of it contributed basically eff all towards the protest movement, and slag off what has been attempted.
People like you piss me off- unfortunately there are a lot of Charlton fans like you.
What have you done exactly then Mister High and Mighty? The classic 'I'm not going to slag you off but then does anyway'.
I've not done a lot re the protest movement.
You do know it's not a competition, don't you?
You need to wind your attitude in a bit mate. Doing more harm then good right now by antagonising people who are basically on your side.

So you're pissed off because someone hasn't protested 'enough' ? But you still share the same goal, which of course is to rid the club of Roland.
I've been to all protests, I was in ST, and I will continue to support CARD and add to the protest fund- but today they asked us to go west lower, and I , like large, don't get why? That's a Fair enough comment.
But back to the point, fans like you are the ones that piss me off. Not everyone can dedicate the same time or money that they'd like to, so to alienate them because they aren't doing enough is beyond moronic. The less resistance there is against RD, the less chance that he'll fuck off.

But he clearly is on the same side!
Infighting don't help.
SM,
I have spent a lot of time, money, effort in the past 18 months primarily going backwards and forwards to Belgium (probably been about 10 times now in total), for some little non-descript, who has done feck-all to come on here and start slagging off the efforts of all the people who do try to do something. Feck me , if he's on the same side, i want him substituted !.

I never slagged off the efforts of all the people that are making these protests happen. I gave an opinion and many even agreed with me, so surely argue with us all rather than picking one person to attack and invent what they said.
You've all made some really great and articulate points, but before my favourite jab, "You slaaag!!!" makes an appearance, can we wind it back a bit? Let's leave the infighting there please.

No one is questioning your effort. But equally, CARD is a coalition. There are a range of views on CARD, as there are a range of views within it.
Whilst I can understand the difficulties faced surrounding today's game, particularly with Swindon only just being relegated, it is valid to say that a large number of people found today's protests anticlimactic.
As LargeAddick said, money was spent by a lot of people on what turned out to be a bluff to try and get more stewards paid for.
Again, I'm not doubting the work put in by yourself those involved in both CARD and the Belgium 20, but ultimately people will have mixed views, and for all the hype created around this being the 'endgame', the protests did fall relatively flat.
Lets not alienate other supporters by criticising what they have and haven't done, that helps no one except the regime that we ALL oppose.
Following from afar what is happening to our great club under this awful ownership and administration. Keep up the good work and pressure CARD - better times will come and you will be able to say you stood up and were counted in the hard times.

Give a shit if you've been to Belgium, or have only stood behind the west stand car park after a match. It's all for the same cause for Christ's sake.
Then dont come on here and have a pop at people who are a) standing behind the west stand or b) holding a banner up at The Valley or c) going to Belgium or d) shouting at Roland from your tv screen when it appears you have done eff all yourself.

Agreed.
It's pathetic how these debates turn in to pissing contests; and sometimes a reminder that no one is bigger than the objective is needed.
I think what we learned today was that everyone wants Roland out, but most fans are resigned to having him here. God knows why he won't sell a failing business model, stubborness, who knows. I think he's impervious to whatever the fans do here, such is his contempt. So I will be very grateful to B20 if another Belgian protest is organised, they will have my continued support, and I hope the support of hundreds of others.

I never slagged off the efforts of all the people that are making these protests happen. I gave an opinion and many even agreed with me, so surely argue with us all rather than picking one person to attack and invent what they said.
Relax.
Yeah, its probably the people who agree with you that worry me more. !
Yeah yeah, widen the net of people you are slagging off you absolute bell.
If you are trying to get people to agree with you then you are going the wrong way about it.
I dont give a toss who agrees with me "you absolute bell " .
I thought pre-game was quiet but caused choas for the club so a win. Konsa was stuck in the traffic jam and walked in via the Valley Grove entrance.
Protests in the ground loud throughout and showed majority still want them out. So much for the lie than CARD is dead and has no support. Another win.
After the game was funny. £££££ spent on police and the world's most useless stewards but 100s still got on the pitch. Another win.
If you win 5 - 0 one week it doesn't mean the 2- 1 win the next week is "disappointing" or not enough. It's still a win.
In the same way every protest doesn't have to be better or more extreme than the last. We just need to keep winning and today we did.
They bought the wrong club.
I agree with all you've said. But I think what myself and others are trying to say is that it was hyped up to be 'The End Game'. Whilst today's protest was successful in many ways like you've pointed out, many are left confused as to why they ended their boycott for seemingly no reason, why some people went to the effort to change their ticket to the West Lower, why the balloons were thrown before the match started, etc.
Today's protest wasn't a failure by any means, and I haven't seen anybody try to claim it was. But it was certainly underwhelming.
Also, I'm sure with increased ticket sales (not massive, but significant enough) and the cost of what are probably very low paid 'muscle', didn't impact the club much at all.

Infighting don't help.
Not sure it is those protesting about today's protest or those protesting about those protesting about today's protest.
Just think today could have been his last game (probably not).

Maybe if its affecting you this much you should take a break from the protests. Summer is calling!
EDIT: Sorry Lookout, hadn't seen your post.
If you are trying to get people to agree with you then you are going the wrong way about it.
But i totally understand the amount of work they put in in doing what they do.
Tried to drag elfsborg on the pitch at Northampton for a pitch invasion
It's pathetic how these debates turn in to pissing contests; and sometimes a reminder that no one is bigger than the objective is needed.

Just take the advice and relax a little. You'll come back on here later and realise you've gone a bit ott and that's fine.
