I'm sorry but what a useless protest other than making the club pay for extra stewarding and police. Why not get the game cancelled?
Edit: To explain my view further, we have done better protests before and this is meant to be the #EndGame
Young Joshrew, Please pray tell me what your protesting exploits have been recently?
I'm just saying that we've had better protests before, this was bigged up to be larger than it was.
"More of the same tomorrow" was commented by many on here after Orient yesterday. Hardly more of the same.
Also I would never claim to have made a large impact as just one person, people need to act as a group. I remember back to being Champions of League One and everyone give it the large about getting on the pitch at the end. In the end one young man got on the pitch and was arrested. Obviously if we are going to do something more extreme we need to act as a group, and I'm certainly not claiming to be the most loyal or impactful of protesters.
I'm a big supporter of CARD. I only attend protest games. I went to Belgium. Today I was asked to buy a ticket in the West Stand, £26. I did so thinking something was going to go on there. It didn't. I'm loathe to criticise because CARD have done a great job so far and they are normal fans just like us. But today was disappointing imo. If Roland is still here next season we need to up our game. Being nice isn't working. Today we didn't Take Back The Valley and it certainly wasn't the End Game.

Exactly, no criticism to CARD at all! Cost the club for stewards and police, but many bought tickets for something that seemingly never ended up happening.

But labelling it "End Game" does imply that there's going to be a bit more to it than blocking a car park. It was very underwhelming in comparison to previous CARD protests.
And before you ask, no, I haven't organised any of my own protests. But if CARD are going to encourage people to spend money to come and support a "major protest" with the implication that it's the "end game", they should also expect people to be underwhelmed when nothing major happens - whether or not those people have organised their own protests.

Gotta say that nobody was moaning yesterday when Orient fans were trying to get their game abandoned. In fact most were on their side, so I don't buy into this view that we would "lose moral support". Yes a few fans would moan but as the old saying goes, sometimes you have to break a few eggs to make an omlette.
However an alternative that I've long championed is that it wouldn't even take a pitch invasion to get the game abandoned. A simple approach of staggering the throwing of objects on say every 10 minutes or so would have the same outcome.

You havnt answered the question, which was.......
"tell me what your protesting exploits have been recently?"
Are you unable to answer because they are zero ?
Read again I've edited. Also relax mate, doubt you've made the headline for your individual protesting either. One man can't make the difference.
I've read your edited post. So, it looks like you've done nothing or very little re protesting.
I was going to start by slagging you off, but i've decided that you've clearly made a bit of an idiot of yourself by your comments. Let me just say, that there are a relatively small dedicated number of people who spend a huge amount of time, planning, effort, and money both in UK and Belgium trying to create ideas and protests attempting to try to persuade our illustrious leader to extracate himself from our club, most work, some dont.
Then, there are people like you, who come on here, who has by the sounds of it contributed basically eff all towards the protest movement, and slag off what has been attempted.
People like you piss me off- unfortunately there are a lot of Charlton fans like you.

Give him a break. Surely if protests impact other Charlton fans then other fans must be able to comment and criticise without having to play personal protest one upmanship.
The owner is still here with no real sign of leaving and the hype of #endgame seems to have alluded that the protests would be off the scale, like nothing seen before and force the owner to sell. That doesn't appear to have happened.
I want these clowns gone out of our club as much as anyone who can see the limitations they're putting on CAFC however the constant thou must not criticise or challenge the protests/ protestors has substationally contributed to the division within the fanbase and it is becoming abundantly clear despite best efforts and intentions only a united front will have the most significant impact.
Think today caused enough grief and embarrassment to remind Roland once again that he bought the wrong club. That's what it needs. Making it a miserable and embarrassing end for a shambolic regime. Not people living out their on-the-pitch fantasies*.
I'm not sure things went quite as expected but some of the unexpected results turned out well, like the balloons coming out when the teams came onto the pitch, a reminder that this is *our* club, not theirs.
(* not those fantasies expressed in the pitch hire video either)

What have you done exactly then Mister High and Mighty? The classic 'I'm not going to slag you off but then does anyway'.
End game it wasn't but by the amount of black and white on show i'd say 75% are anti Roland/pro CARD. Katrien MUST realise her position is untenable but we'll just have to keep plugging away.

You need to wind your attitude in a bit mate. Doing more harm then good right now by antagonising people who are basically on your side.

More stewards and old bill than ever there, fair play to those that got on the pitch, but then they sung a song and wandered off again.
They will still be here next season by the looks of it
