Think we’re all getting desperate now, the Takeover needs to happen this week , players need to arrive now and returning injured players need to step up quickly.
  • I want parking to be a problem, queues at the turnstiles and Klopp with his head in his hands as the third goal goes in .
Premier League football stinks, but that is the 'price' of success
  • Is Veri Soon our new Korean signing pencilled in for tomorrow?

I thought the unsubstantiated fact was £200m but could make up any number
2 was the number that someone thought several meant, there was then a debate on this.

    A couple = 2
    A few = 3 maybe 4
Several generally was thought to mean 5, 6 or 7

I think that was the outcome.
Where did the £15billion come from?.
    His boss
  • ttnimer is supposed to be worth £500 million, why is he on instagram teasing the fans , either show your hand or disappear, obviously I’m hoping for the former.
    Where  is £500m from?.
Prob just some loose change from down the back of his sofa...🤷‍♂️
  • Takeover and two new signings to be announced tomorrow around midday. One on loan. One permanent. Not ITK just a strong feeling about it that’s all.

    This would be nice.

  • CAST contacted the EFL much earlier in this process and received a prompt reply that they could not advise on timescale.

Let's see where we are next week.
  • Even though the EFL have obviously been working throughout the Festive period, is it certain that the "back office" people, who take care of the administration etc. of this sort of thing have been running at full capacity?

When it didn't happen by midday Christmas Eve, I was personally resigned to the fact that it probably wouldn't happen until today at least.
  • I understand that there is not, and cannot be, a set timescale, and I particularly understand that the EFL would have been massively unimpressed by Duchatelet's intervention.

I find it very odd, though, that ESI would take such a high profile at this time if they knew they had failed thus far to answer important/difficult questions to the EFL's satisfaction. If they do this to put pressure on the EFL with such questions outstanding, it seems very unwise. If they do it because they think the outstanding issues the EFL have asked to clear up are trivial, and want to get on with maximising the opportunity of the window, then I think it is far more understandable.

CAST and CARD reps (I was one of them) had face to face discussions with the EFL which led to a better mutual perception of the other side's positions. We understood that (hard as it can be to accept) the EFL have clubs to deal with that were put in more existential danger than RD has done. I would think that if we approach them on that basis, we could suggest that it is in their overall interest to at least put out a statement clarifying where the process is, a statement which helps fans understand that the EFL process is seeking to ensure long term protection of the club, as @Chizz alludes to.
  • Do we know for a fact the EFL haven't signed off on this (as they're unlikely to make any statements), maybe the delay is in the finer details of how payment between the two parties is to be made.

  • Welcome to 2020 !

The EFL isn’t going to say anything to us on the record at this stage.
