LdT revealed the price wouldn’t change depending on League positioning. And suggested being in the top 2 was no big deal to them, implying top six was fine because all they are interested in is selling the club, and that status by previous admissions made it more sellable.
I tried to emphasise the damage their short term strategy was doing to the club, and the cliff edge of the summer and emphasised the following: There was no evidence that Bowyer has anything like the support he or the club deserves over the last year, on top of the previous years of mismanagement. This puts the club in a grave situation where loans, expiring contracts and even doubt over Bowyer means if we miss out on promotion the summer will see the current squad decimated rather than ‘Bowyer building something’ (Les) and is a reason why many fans are so angered by the situation.
I asked LdT if he was disappointed the club had missed out on a top two finish because of a striker shortage after they had failed to back Bowyer in the window after Grant left on a substantial fee. He simply shrugged.
I know it's easier said than done in the heat of the moment, but can LDT be pressed to answer in words rather than allowed a simple shrug?
The middle paragraph above is fantastic and needed (still needs) a proper detailed reply. That way it can be clearly stated in the minutes how the management intend to effect the solutions ... or alternately (as most of us suspect) be embarrassed by their absolute amateurism and couldn't give a toss attitude.

He probably shrugged because he didn't want to be honest and say no.
I strongly suspect RD isn't disappointed because promotion would mean additional costs and expenses, better players, higher wages etc. I'm sure RD would be quite happy for us to keep floating about in league one.
Here’s what I don’t get. (Amongst other things) A price has been agreed with three parties. The last one (No5) are in the latter stages of DD. The price agreed will be indicative before looking at the books. I imagine this would be the same process for all three parties. Based on what’s in the public domain it doesn’t take a genius to assess that the club as a whole is worth between £25 - 30 million tops. That’s the kind of figure the buyers would have made ? We have a bid reported by an ex banker at £30 million. Why would that indicative figure have been agreed with RD if he is wanting a rumoured £60 million. No indicative bid would have been anywhere near that. Might it be the case that after DD the club is valued by the bidders at around £20 million. What unseen horrors are there if my conclusion is accurate ? How given this massive discrepancy are we still hearing £60 million.
It just doesn't stack up and I have to conclude that it’s all bullshit about bids being accepted. I doubt the club is any closer to a sale now than it was the day RD decided to sell.

To be fair to LDT, on the 1st January we were 5th, and are 5th now. While not replacing Grant properly was a serious mistake, it's not as if we plunged out of automatic contention as a result of selling Grant, we've never been higher than 4th all season.

I wonder if there is a little semantic trick going on here: he says "price agreed" trying to avoid the question but never says "bid made".
So like has been suggested before, does RD quote a price, the potential buyer accepts the price and does DD, and then makes a bid lower than the "agreed price" and RD just says "no, we agreed a price" from an optics point of view LdT can say "price agreed with three separate bidders".
When asked if RD still wanted the EFL to buy the club LDT said the reply of the EFL was clear that they will not buy it and that the club has to accept that.
The only person who has agreed a price is Roland. He has agreed a price with himself which he thinks is fair. As for any potential buyers I do not believe a price has been agreed. Had it been then a takeover would have happened by now.
He wants to retain some sort of ownership of Sparrows Lane and/or The Valley.
He didn't when negotiating with the aussie way back when.

The whole section about the EFL buying the club made me laugh. Continuing to push LDT into making comments about that stupid proposal by RD
So, if no deal has been done then we can only assume that the agreed price was ‘agreed’ pre DD. Ie the price that RD is asking. What I don’t get is why it is 3 different but “in line” prices. This would indicate that pre DD the 3 parties had already prepared detailed plans on how they wished to finance the purchase of the club and when. Would that be normal for a football club sale ? Answering my own question, it could be that RD had already worked out a number of scenarios and respective sale prices. Forward thinking by RD ? Nope, I still don’t get it.
Piss poor by Sky. They have just read what Henry wrote last evening and taken it a stage further.

Goaded along by De Turck no doubt.
" Don't forget football world. Charlton are still for sale if anyone's stupid enough to pay the asking price. Better get in quick before an imaginary international group get in before you!"

It would also mean £6-£8m more revenue, most of it from central payments, so not affected by Roland’s fuckwittery. Millwall spent less money in the Championship in 17/18 than Charlton did in L1. It’s a complete myth losses are bigger in the Championship - unless you make that choice.

The context was after BHs assertion of incompetence, I was attempting to show that this was continuing in a slightly different form under LdT through short termism and cost cutting 'success' which was causing serious damage to the club at a time when they had huge potential in Bowyer for football success - the latter is clearly something they are not interested in
