What can be the two week significance be? EFL approval? How can it be time limited? £7m loans? If it is an issue now, it will be no less so in a fortnight. No 'difficult two weeks' is the window closing with Bauer Mag and others looking for their coats. Luckily Fosu is stuck here until January. So I believe the takeover is further on the horizon than this and am struggling to find reasons for delays apart from a previously mentioned potential tax issue of RD's 5th anniversary Dec/Jan or a key investor trying to shed his other interest.

Oh gawd, analysis. That's all we need ;-)
James, you offer a cryptic clue and then expect people not to analyse? Seriously?

I'm guessing you must know more than you let on, otherwise your conversations with GM would be positively weird, judging by the minuscule titbits of titillation you offer. Your loyalty to the Aussie regime is beyond reproach, and loyalty is to me is one of my favourite qualities in a human being. However, loyalty is normally borne out of something tangible such as allegiance, devotion and duty and not imo an occasional coded message that not even you purport to understand.

Com'on James time to spill the beans ... What's going on?

No beans to spill, I really dont know more than I let on, other than personal stuff. Since the beer meeting I've only have two or three fairly brief phone conversations, and he's been extremely careful not to spill the beans or break confidentiality. He thought far too much came out after our beer meeting, despite saying it would be fine to share, so he's now much more careful. Especially as I'm now a known associate. It'll be ok once sale is concluded though.
    “If” the sale is concluded...
    He said 'when'.

Imo, everything is released for a reason and everything is spin.

Lol. It's almost as if you live in a dystopian universe.
You think They release what they do for laughs rather than impact?
Yup. You've been there too long.
  • Murray is owed £2.6m, not £4m.

The way that the comment has been phrased to James suggests to me it is they the Australians that have the difficulties, not Roland. Not the ex directors. Not loans.

So what is it that the Australians will find difficult to do in two weeks?

We have been told that the consortium needs to be less complicated. Who decided this and why?

There also seems to be the suggestion that two of the consortium did not pass fit and proper. Is this what will mean a difficult two weeks to resolve?

Maybe the two go together. By re-organising the consortium they can then meet the requirements of fit and proper and yet keep the consortium together.

    Not so.
So it is Roland, the ex Directors and the loans.

    Tie a kangaroo down?
Now is not the time, to bring Rolf Harris in to it

He just said 'there may be a couple of difficult weeks ahead'. Nothing about loans or Roland. It could be either or neither I guess.
  • Murray is owed £2.6m, not £4m.

thanks for correction, read the other day it was £4m
  • I am closer to saying stuff the whole lot than I have ever been in 59 years of supporting this team. So many false dawns, cryptic comments, broken promises over these last 18 months than in the previous 57 and a half years.
I desperately want Duchatelet to go, but have no confidence whatsoever that the Australians are the right people to succeed the Belgian.
If there is a second bidder, the supposition is that Murray is involved, the same Murray who lumbered us with Dowie purely to piss off Simon Jordan.
This is my last post on Charlton Life. I have not renewed my season ticket. Charlton have lost another loyal supporter. I doubt I will ever return.
  • @JamesSeed why do you have so much faith in the Aussies?

  • Are they at the Valley tonight?.
  • Well that last deadline said "after"the Norwich game and it would still be correct if it was months /years after ------------"2rough weeks" just when things were going so fucking well !!!!
Utter utter bollox even for Charlton.

17\1 for relegation ? Lump it on.

Over the decades seen, herd some shit following this club but this whole sale/buying thing is total piss take ----fucking shambles -------destroying our support base day by day

Wouldn't blame Bowyer if he walked

Possibly, but I don't want to subscribe. What did it say?
It's the story about Usmanov looking to sell his 30% stake in Arsenal. We aren't mentioned but I know that somewhere in the mists of time, someone mentioned Usmanov &/or Moshiri (his stooge at Everton) in connection with us. Can't see that somehow.

They have shown nothing though, the spivs said the right things when they came in, as did RD, so let's wait and see, shall we.

Might have said the right things mate ...and then wot happened,I'd rather hear nothing (just knowing the aussies are still there is enough)...let them talk when it's clear as day what money they may have, the personnel they place in the needed positions from top to bottom & wot this 5yr plan is when the takeover eventually happens...(and yes, like everyone else is hoping, please god it does & soon) then only judge them after them terms,no one could possibly know how it will go,but fuck it...let's enjoy the next chapter TOGETHER...!!!

    Cmon U Addicks

We can have a whip round then to remove him and help the Aussies

  • Done Deal is running again shortly tonight at Chelmsford. 8/1 is good e/w value.

    Will it finish?
Backed into 7/2 and was shit
  • Oh to be Brentford! There, I have said it... Thank you Roland.
