Apparently Charlton can no longer afford breakfast for all the development squads before training. Seriuously? What planet are they on?

I wonder if that's even legal.
You wonder if a company is allowed to stop giving its <<highly paid>> employees a free breakfast?

Surely you have bigger eggs to fry?
Please name the 'highly paid' minimum wage employees your talking about? You need to read before replying with nonsense.
How about all of them in comparison to other teenagers?
    Blimey Roland’s a nob but this is a non-story...

The League One planet. As reported last week, RD is planning to reduce costs to the level of other L1 clubs by all means, including player sales, staff cuts and expenditure cuts. I would say we are 3 years away from being Leyton Orient.
Wow.... so you think penalising those with the least is the answer - again think before posting - if 'all ' then fair enough but it's not all. It's a professional football club not a Sunday sportsman league. These kids have just signed scholarships not 10k week contracts.
I am just saying what the press reported last week. Take your complaints to RD, not me.

If a young player breaks into the first team, he doesn't get appearance money, but he gets a free breakfast.

No such thing as a ‘free’ breakfast

So the youth don’t get served food during training and you all think you’re funny jokers making puns on them. Ok

Well, as we now approach the end of what seems to have been a very long February, is today really a bit of a deadline day?
Or have I read it all wrong? Anybody know?

Last working day in June - makes sense to be a take-over 'deadline day'. Fingers crossed.

And last day tomorrow for the club's 2017 / 18 annual financials which will be due for filing at Companies House 9 months hence.

A convenient date for a sale of the business :open_mouth: Cmon RD you know it makes sense.

I think the line it’s a long term project so we’re in no rush, is a negotiating ploy, trouble is it sends a negative message to fans - we don’t care what state the club is in when we buy, hmmmm
