Duchatelet has never eaten a slice of humble pie in his life. Don't expect him to start now.Henry Irving said:So if the Aussies miss the deadline, then what does Duchatelet do?
He still wants to sell and so far they are the only known buyers.
Is RD willing to cut the Aussies dead when there is no other party ready to put their money down.
Just can't see RD shutting the door on the Aussies 100%
With any luck, we will financially ruin him.3 -

There has to be a walk away point on both sides always or it’s not a negotiationHenry Irving said:So if the Aussies miss the deadline, then what does Duchatelet do?

We can not go into the season with it up in the air
We need to focus on the season ahead and know that RD is willing to sell that’s one thing that we must all keep pushing to happen
The sad thing for me is that the Saudi bid was 40.5 mil they matched the Aussie bid till that went up for a final time and they walked away
Now if it’s true that this has now reached the walk away point then I am pissed off their fucking around has stopped us getting rid of RD when they seemingly never had the cash to do it
Not confirmed yet but it’s no surprise it’s been being discussed in PM’s on here since Sunday night and most of yesterday so let’s wait and see4 -
So the 1000 pages did for the takeover once and for all? What is the opposite of a promote?

Phoned GM, for the first time in fact, and his words were 'not as far as I've heard mate. Don't believe the rumours. If I hear anything different I'll let you know.'
I said 'you've had a hard time of it of late, and his replay was 'I dunno, it's all part of the gig mate.'
He's so bloody laid back, I can't imagine what his meetings with Roland must be like.
He was a bit pissed off about the Aussies 'real exit' though.47 -
But as far as we know the Saudis haven't out their money down.carly burn said:

For less than half of the £7m owed to the former directors RD could pay off some of the ex-directors and arrange a lease of The Valley with The Aussies potentially until they do have the cash to buy The Valley.
That equates to 3-4 more months of funding £1m a month losses so really wouldn't surprise me if RD steps up his efforts to pay out some of the ex-directors and arrange a lease deal with The Aussies until they have the cash.
In the meantime the beginning of our sleepwalk to League Two gets closer while no deal happens.

If the Aussies don't have the cash now how would they be able to raise the cash as well as subsidising the running of the club?1
