Hereford away, League cup 2nd leg 1989. In my mind there were about 40 Addicks there?
Thought there was more than that there, Ooh Ahh might be able to confirm though .
About 180 but i was pissed and seeing double and no one in the away end even knew we'd scored until it was clocked the hereford side were taking a centre circle kick off
Edit: no idea how many there but it wasn't a lot
Forgotten about everyone not realising we'd scored. Do you remember buying bottles of wine from the Indian we went to for the journey home? We must have been smashed.
Bradford away on Election Day in 1997 (game played on a Thursday for some reason) can't have been more than 40-50 Addicks there. I was at university in Leeds hence being one of them
I was at this one. First time I saw deep fried Cadbury''s Cream Eggs in a chippy. Tony Blair elected that night I recall as we drove back through the night.

Not a Charlton game, I went to watch me hometown team Dartford play Newport IoW away in the old Southern League. I'm confident I was the only independent traveller, plus my Wight trash host for the weekend plus however many Darts diehards had accompanied the squad, management etc on the club coach. Away support absolute maximum of 30, more likely 20. My appearance in Newport's bar in my Dartford shirt half hour or so before kick off caused slack jawed, mute bewilderment in the select few Newport boozers present, no comments, queries, greetings, anything just goggle-eyed incomprehension.
Plenty of the above I was at . Spoilt for choice really ... We had midweek trips to the old Walsall, Northampton and Lincoln grounds in the League Cup during the Selhurst years where numbers were sparse, as ever , for our top flight team but between 1 and 200 made those trips and yes that is one !!
Yep, did all three of these. Held up by traffic jams on the way to Walsall. We were 2-0 down by the time we got there. Sat next to Steve Gritt at Northampton. They still played at the cricket ground and only had supporters on three sides of the pitch. I seem to remember Amos and Reidy having verbals on the pitch. Lincoln - just managed to get the last programme from a seller before kick off. Apparently they underestimated the demand and sold out early. It's still in the loft somewhere.
Bray Wanderers in Bray. About 20 - 30. Fleetwood and Tuna played. I was on the radio that morning and spent a couple of minutes hyping up the big match saying the Galactico's were coming to town and was then asked about seeing Ronaldo play (Real Madrid were playing Shamrock Rovers). To which I replied "wot,Ronaldo doesn't play for Charlton" Shook hands with Kinsella that day too.

In fact screw this, none of you can count a ground until you've seen Charlton play there on a Saturday and a night game
Seen Charlton play on 89 league grounds including The Valley.
But that includes seeing us play 12 clubs on two different grounds (but not including Fulham at Loftus Road or Leeds at St Andrews).
Seen us win at 52 league grounds including The Valley.
Wembley not included.
It keeps Cabbles happier this way!

Last Friday in April 1997. Away to Bolton and the last ever game at Burnden Park. Bolton offered us an allocation of either 2,000 or 250.
As the average turn out for midweek away games was just over 100, the club took the 250 allocation.
Sitting under a gazebo.
