Win the next three and this thread will be in meltdown... stranger things have happened!
not many stranger things have happened
3 wins would certainly perk up a few observers but this threadbare squad would still need to sustain 1.67 points per match from then to the final game - something to which it hasn't come close in far too long - to be in with any chance of 6th place. Plus there is the ever present instability emanating from Roly HQ - what repercussions await us from the March 4th deposition? Will Roly throw his toys out of his bathchair yet again?
45 points to play for, 8 points off play offs when put like that it doesnt sound too bad but would mean us winning 10/11 out of the 15 and hoping the teams above us slip up, just cant see it happening ill remain to think that its a possibility all the time its possible but a real poor showing currently sitting 13th in league 1 just another failure by Katrien, to add to her collection.

Not a failure, It's a learning experience to be instantly forgotten.
Been saying all season and been having bets through the season to finish top 6. Keep thinking we will go on a run, but the thing is we can't even get back to back wins. Even with the players we've got I think we could of Easy had another 4 points on the board
We should aim for a further 34 points from our remaining 16 games. It doesn't guarantee the playoffs but it would've got us in in all of the last six seasons.
If we can just start scoring goals and not conceding any I think we can do it fairly comfortably. 10 wins on the spin is not unreasonable.
What frigging planet are you on? Were you there tonight? Quite clear that most of the players have thrown in the towel and realise - quite correctly - that we may have a more realistic target, avoiding relegation!!! Also, I don't give a toss what the 'official' attendance figures given by the club were, if there were more than 6,000 there tonight I would be surprised. This is indeed the lowest I have ever felt since first following this club way back in 1967. I genuinely fear that the incompetents who run Charlton will soon be overseeing a fall into the third tier - and it could take years, if ever, to reclaim at least a place in the Championship. It amazes me when I hear so-called Charlton fans defending the regime - unbelievable!!!

When Robinson took over we were 11th and 2 points below the play offs (and 1 point behind Millwall).
We are now 13th and 8 points off of the play offs (and 8 points behind Millwall)
Not that the play offs should be seen as any sort of achievement in this division.

11 wins, 2 losses
10 wins, 3 draws
8 points from 13 games (50 from 46) is
8 draws, 5 losses
Can we close this thread, and start a relegation one instead please?
Sadly, it's most likely in the Fourth Division (in old money) next season.

Yes, it has to be or not yes but no.!
2015/16
playoffs 74 - 85 points
relegation 34-46 points
2014/15
playoffs 69-89 points
relegation 40-50 points
2013/14
playoffs 74-86 points
relegation 42-47 points
2012/13
playoffs 74-79
relegation 32-48 points
from that i get;
52 points will keep us safe ( need another 10 )
playoffs would need 74 ( need 32 points out of a possible 42 )
10 wins,2 draws and 2 losses.
playoffs aint gonna happen.
