Louis how are you finding Karl in your limited time with him? I can't help but let his positivity rub off on me, and listening to him certainly makes me want to watch Charlton play football.
Do you get the feeling that he is sincere in what he says and he really is that infectious? For me every soundbite I hear from him is what I want to hear from a charlton manager but I'm so sceptical of the circus going on behind the scenes I wouldnt be surprised if he is being told to say these things.
Wow, I must say - I'm beginning to really like Karl. Really decent interviews, cracking support of Patrick who got a red card and good to see the odd bit of self-deprecation.
Robinson even said: “I know he got sent off at the end but it was a good sending off, well done Patrick.”

Definitely seems sincere but we all know it's now time for the football to do the talking. It did it today and hopefully that will continue
He's been great to deal with so far, nice touch speaking to me before the game today to get a bit of extra stuff out there.

Let's see if he sticks to his promise to talk the fans. I'm not talking about Latrine's stooges but the 98% rest of us. I'm available for him to pm.
Echo most of what has been said above. We were on the ropes for the first ten minutes, but after that Bradford rarely troubled us except for a couple of counter attacks. Phillips pulled off a particularly good save on one such occasion, with a Bradford player through on goal. He looks very assured, although his distribution needs work.
I'm in the camp of Konsa not looking like a right back. In mitigation, I think he was up against Marshall ( who was their best player imo) at first before he switched wings and he grew as the game went on. I can see he might have started as a full back as he is so good going forward, but I thought his positioning was poor at times. I was really impressed by Chicksen, he dealt with Marshall well for most of the match and he really knows how to time a tackle. A couple of times a man beat him on the outside for Chicksen to tackle them on the turn.
It was an interesting system we played today, it seemed 4-3-3 but I'm really not sure and I leave it to others who know better to explain it. Botaka, Novak, Magennis and Ajose seemed to inter-change in attack. There was a lot of pace, power and strength in the forward line which caused all kinds of problems for City. Throw in the odd bit of skill and a bit of luck and we had genuine chances. Magennis deserves the praise but he should of scored, I cannot emphasise the time and space he had to shoot and his final ball let him down on several occasions in good positions. Ajose would have had a tap in if Josh had hit the ball more than two feet after he had just carved through their defence and you could see they both knew it!
What was interesting to me, was how the same set of players can seem so different. We created a lot of opportunities today and different kinds of chance as well. The football was positive, assured and at times, expressive. If this is only the first week of trying and implementing this new system, I am not only impressed, I am optimistic about what might mean for the future. But I thought Bradford's Dienge and Law were quality and overshadowed our central pairing. This seem to me the final part of the puzzle. I feel bad saying it though, I like Crofts, I think he has saved us a few goals this season but I see him a bit like Kish. I'm not convinced by Ulvestad, I hope it is just I don't know what I'm talking about or my bad eyesight, but I just didn't notice him till about 80 minutes.
Good away following, filled most of the upper tier in good voice with restrained protest, loud rendition of just sell the club second half. Particularly enjoyed the group giving Colin grief. It was genuinely the most I have enjoyed a match in ages. It was nice to see a bit of positivity on the pitch against a good side after the last couple of years. Might be just what we all need.
Paddy wasnt fouled... their player simply ran into the back of him when the BFG wasnt going to just get out of the way as he was running back in a straight line so didnt alter his course to obstruct their player.
What probably got him the red card was the fact he hung back from the other two Charlton defenders running back and clearly looked to see where the Bradford player was but that was bound to be one of two reasons
(1) So the Bradford player wasnt invited to shoot in space from distance
(2) Had he turned away from him he would have potentially lost sight of the player / ball and so unable to deal with the threat
Just seen the Magennis shot from the First half though on Channel 5... Definitely wasnt our day when the ball hit the post and ran back along the line... ONE slight touch from the 'keeper on the floor would have sent that over the line!!
Little bloke with glasses in the stand spoilt the game in the 2nd half. fanny Fanackapan was on the train been saying all season you won't be seeing many teams bear us this season. Bradford fans after game were saying after the game one of the best teams they've seen this season. As for the little bloke can you please stop spoiling my day out Night all
Enjoyable trip. Interesting watching Robinson. He came out just after 2.30 and led a period of pre match warm up. It was an in game passing move. It was a bit like him showing everyone what training is like. You could hear him screaming his scouse instructions. He then went round cajoling players constantly. He made them all clap as they left the pitch before kick off. When he came out after half time he started geeing up the crowd. In game he was a mix of big animation and calm. At the end he did a klopp type clapping of the fans with the players then he clapped the players.
Part of it looked really fake and that it was all being done to show the fans he is the real deal. But the overwhelming feeling I got, and I think most around me, was that it was impressive and if nothing else he is desperate to be a success at the club and clearly believes in himself and that he can do the job, even if the regime make it difficult for him.
Dream scenario would be winning the play offs, Roland sells, Robinson stays and goes for promotion to the prem supported by a proper regime. Either way, I just hope they give him time to build.
As for the match, lovely to see a big ground fairly full. First half was ace. Second half was a bit dull. They had a good tricky winger who was quite old school and enjoyable to watch. Bauer and Tex were rock solid. Super Josh had a great game, but should've scored. They all put a big shift in. Novak looked ready to collapse in the last ten minutes. Midfield still lacks creativity. Ref inconsistent.
Someone on Facebook reporting Miere has a bit of a mare on the train home.. apparently he asked her if they were going to give KR a chance and so on. Not sure what happened in between but apparently she got angry that fans think she is a liar, and she 'told him not to come' and 'stormed off'...

We're all justifiably cynical but KR really does seem to be just the catalyst we need to start Getting behind the team. 100% support ? Maybe not just yet but I'm really hopeful.
At the game, should've been 3-0 up at half time, hit the goal frame twice with their keeper nowhere. City fan admitted to me after the game that we should've taken the 3 points.
That being said Philips made 3 or 4 outstanding saves to keep it at 0-0. Good support from the 600+ that made the effort to get behind the the team and remind the regime that they are not wanted
Star turns from Phillips, Chicksen (if Fox gets reinstated over him it will be a joke) Magennis, Bauer and Tex.
Midfield gave of their best but as we all know reinforcements are a must in January. Ajose played wide left, gave his best but is not a midfielder and tackling is not his forte. Strange role to ask a goal scorer to play but I saw this as KR wanting to fit him into his favoured formation.
Tex entered the fray early doors for Pearce and along with BFG was a different class at this level. They read and snuffed out danger with ease and when our goal was threatened DP as already intimated stepped up to the plate to make some first class saves.
All in all a good away point but we should have had it sewn up at half time same as the Port Vale away game. Missed chances could turn out to be our shortcoming to reach the play offs come next May
My undefeated away league record continues however I can't make the Spanners game

Why do you think it will be a joke? Fox has been one of our best players in the last half a dozen games
Fox is too inconsistent. Chicken has done enough for a run in the team. Fox should have to fight his way back in the side.
Considering the side we put out amazing effort yesterday. How we didn't score in the first half ?shocking ref who seemed far too happy to book our players. Scene should have been set when Botaka was hauled down. Great support.

No wonder she likes Roger Johnson so much
She hasn't got the right to tell a Charlton fan not to come! And she says Roland watches every game - the one time we checked -he wasn't. We know she is a LIAR. Wish she would storm off for good. It would be the best thing she could do for our club.

Hope it wasn't me mate. I am a little bloke with glasses. I had a cap on yesterday. If it was me tell me what I did please.

Is setting the team up aggressively, sounds like we played good football.
Hope he is backed through January with funds, and we start scoring.
And get promoted.
