Sure, loss of concentration by Dillon, but very poor backpass, though....... during my time playing, we were told never to play a backpass across the face of the goal, always to the byeline side of the near post.

If the keeper cocked up, better to concede a corner rather than an own goal.

I do wonder what the long term psychological impact on Dillon would have been if we hadn't won? He seems a strong character but confidence can be fragile.

Dillon seemed to react better than Naby, which suggests he's mentally quite strong

He certainly doesn't come across as being quiet and introverted!

Keepers get more stick for dropping a howler than a striker who misses a tap in from 3 yards.

Im pleased, and amazed in equal measure that we one the game, for our sakes and Dillon’s.

I really want Dillon to have an unbelievable season, he deserves our full support, it was nice to hear fans singing his name and backing him on Saturday, keep working hard Dills!

  • I think Dillon was visualising his next performance of Twist and Shout at the time.

From a certain camera angle, at least two  Millwall players were offside.
    The goal shouldn't have stood.

Watched Dillon come through since he was sixteen. I for one have always thought he showed promise, delighted with his success and as long as he is fit I wouldn't drop him for anybody else.
    Sorry Ben.

Man of the match v Fulham
  • I wouldn't like to influence anyones marks but he could be MoM at a far more important place than Sky

I think the great thing is that he is still improving. He is definitely decent Championship level as he is.
  • Man of the match for me, with Macaulay a close contender, and Connor!!
All in all, a battling performance from everyone!

Unbelievable performance today. Unfortunate to concede two given his overall performance and without him the scoreline today would have more closely matched some of the more pessimistic pre match predictions.
  • I know it’s kinda his job, Made 5 saves today.
  • Magnificent today.

Never mind the distribution, just keep the ball out of the net  :)
  • MOM Gallagher for me.
Call me cynical, but thought he could have done better for their second equaliser.
Not knocking him, done well to keep us in it afterwards.

Ref's assistant was the one who could have done better - not Phiilips.

His distribution was erratic today and as it was in the last two games. It is an issue when it cheaply hands possession straight back to an opposition who are already dominating us as it only invites more pressure. He needs to improve it if he wants to go further in his career.

Shot stopping though, top notch and keeps him comfortably in ‘championship class’ and fully justifies his current position as Charlton’s number one despite any other flaws in his game. Won us a point today.

Could have done better? He made a great initial save and after that there was nothing else he could have done in my opinion.

Some of his saves today defied logic- we are lucky to have him
  • I thought the first goal he went with the wrong hand

    brilliant performance though
