  • So, of the 21 counties with only one team currently in the league I think we have
    the following 15.

    Kent
    Leicestershire
    Gloucestershire
    East Yorkshire
    Norfolk
    Suffolk
    Cumbria
    Oxfordshire
    Berkshire
    Somerset
    East Sussex
    Cambridgeshire
    Dorset
    Berkshire
    Clwyd

Cambridgeshire has two - Cambridge United and Peterborough United

So far Herefordshire and Worcestershire with only one team ever representing them, but to be honest I dont know the real answer to this perplexity.

Gloucestershire - Cheltenham (so far, though Forest Green may change that soon)
    Dorset - Bournemouth
    Wiltshire - Swindon
    Berkshire - Reading
    W Sussex -Crawley
    E Sussex - Brighton
    Beds - Luton
    Suffolk -Ipswich
    Norfolk -Norwich
    Shropshire -Shrewsbury
    Oxfordshire - Oxford
    W Glamorgan - Swansea
    Gwent - Newport
(I think there have been other Mid Glamorgan sides historically like Merthyr)

    Counties with none
Surrey (unless you count Palace and Wimbledon)
    Cornwall
    Rutland
Northumberland (unless you count Berwick in Scottish League)
    most of Wales
