Stone, people do fall for this kind of stuff, I was speaking to a Saints fan this week who had heard the Talksport interview with her the other week and thought she came across well, and had been harshly treated by the fans.
I had to put him right on a few things, but people not connected to Charlton will see us as another whinging fan base.
12 of them are Fans' Forum committee meetings and probably a slightly smaller number are the Target 20k committee, one more will be the FF-plus meeting last November - all of them closed and with restricted access.
It's a line they have used before and as dishonest as you'd expect. But it sounds impressive so they have no compunction in misleading people with it.
It's probably true, and not a lie (honest!); 34 meetings. Break it down over the last (almost) three years... we know about the fans forum meetings (maybe 10?); the recent pre-games meets with supporters clubs (3); other meetings at supporters clubs before they turned nasty (maybe 3?); CASC Trust meeting (1?); CAFC Community Trust meeting (6?); ex-VIP members meetings (1); Season ticket holder meeting (2?); people who didn't get their season tickets in the post meeting (1); chat with Rick Everitt on the corner of Ransom Walk meeting (1); Valley Gold members meeting (2); Player of the year function meetings (3); the talking to a Spurs supporting cab driver while on the way to improve my CV meeting (1). There, that makes 34....No lies!
34 meetings and Pinnochio has got nowhere. Roly has invested £38mill and we are sinking. Doesnt reflect well on their ability to run a football club does it? I hope they keep pushing those lines to the media, because it will emphasise how incompetent they are.
Any ceo who, over the course of almost three years, while in charge of a failing company, who has been involved with as few as 34 meetings with their customer-base should be thoroughly embarrassed.
How they can claim that 34 meetings with fans as being a good thing, a significant number or something to be pleased about is abhorrent.
Talk to the fans, Katrien. Or, much more importantly, start LISTENING to them.

She was told directly, and in no uncertain terms during her meeting with Bromley Addicks that talking is the easy thing but delivering is completely different. It was then pointed out that she had delivered nothing positive
She's worst than Trump. Also, from a professional point of view, how can anyone take her seriously. She's presided over 8 managerial changes, about 60 different players, relegation, a massive fall in revenue and a drop off of about 40% in fans going to the games.
Who would want to employ her to an executive management position in/outside of football based on those facts

Not to mention that despite "Investing" £38m the club is in a worse place then what it was when they took them over.
On another note, Daisy said that the management structure of the club was in a mess when she took over. I wonder what state it's in now..??
Notice they also managed to drop in the £38m that Roly has 'invested' in the club. They had definitely been briefed.
If 38M has been spent, then it has been spent very badly when you look at the position the club is in now, compared to when Roland bought it. Spending that amount of money is nothing for Roland to be proud of.
Why would you keep count? You're the CEO of a football club, surely meetings with fans and fan groups are a big part of your job and should be happening all the time without you making such a song and dance over it? I work for an insurance broker and we meet clients and Underwriters every day but I would look pretty stupid telling my boss the great news of how many meetings we'd had in the last three years, what matters is the outcome of those meetings and if business emanated from them; I would venture to say that most of those involving our esteemed CEO did not go well so why even bother mentioning the number? And shame on the commentator for being stupid enough to give it any value.
You can just imagine a tally chart on the wall in her office entitled "customer meetings" and she takes great pleasure in using her big marker pens every time she has another one. "Ooh Tony, we're up to 34 now!" She's not out of her depth though....
Said it before re the PR muppets she has brought in ....really doesnt matter what spin you put out to the wider football world in the long term because the only people that really matter are Charlton fans, who bar the most servile of arse lickers, all know the score where her incompetence at running our club is concerned.
She could get Obama to give a twenty minute glowing appraisal of the regimes time at Charlton whilst Madonna writhed around on pictures of Duchatelet in the background and the Queen endorsed a new sofa by royal decree yet few but the odd mouth breathing idiot would be anything but completely unimpressed at such PR horseshite.

Can only assume whoever put that is including the fans forums.

She can't help herself every time she opens her mouth, the bullshit just seeps out.
37 vol au vents per game
36 League places lower
35 months of rubbish
34 fan meetings
The twelve days of Christmas is looking like it needs to be extended for the regime this year
