DMac having to appoint a manager that isn't Grant McCann is going to be interesting. Was Steve Evans the last non Fergie Jr/McCann manager there?0

Surely this will be Bloomfield. Knows the owner very very well from Wycombe.fenaddick said:3 -
Juventus have sacked Igor Tudor. Wouldn't usually bother putting that here but the managerial merry go round in Italy is wild. The longest serving manager in Serie A was appointed in June 2024. The PL's longest standing is Guardiola who has been in charge for 9 years0

Evans fell out big time with Mcanthony. There’s no way he will go back there .CaptainRobbo said:0 -

Brendan Rodgers leaves Celtic and is replaced by Martin O’Neill on a temporary basis. Incredible statement from Celtic’s largest shareholder too

a matter of such national importance that it was featured for an hour this a.m. on the Nicky Campbell R5Live 'phone in', though most of the chat was devoted to ex Celtic playersfenaddick said:Brendan Rodgers leaves Celtic and is replaced by Martin O’Neill on a temporary basis. Interesting that a Leicester fan and one from Liverpool (hardly a cross section of fan's opinion) both opined that Rodgers when at their clubs was pretty much useless and somehow left both jobs with his reputation enhanced0 -

Interesting appointment. Will be definitely be attacking football under Williams but have major questions about if his sides can ever defend.fenaddick said:

Posh have always been a team that scores loads of goals, but also concedes a few, so Williams seems a good fit.1 -
Am I going crazy or was Richardson someone we interviewed? I want to say post Holden?0

Can’t say I’ve ever heard of Luke Williams0

You have now!Bedsaddick said:Can’t say I’ve ever heard of Luke Williams2 -
That sums up Peterborough of the past years anyway, they play the way 3-2/4-3 is the more likely result than 1-0.MarcusH26 said:

Notts County Manager when they were fighting with Wrexham for promotion from the National League, went to Swansea after doing pretty well the next year in League Two and flopped.Bedsaddick said:Can’t say I’ve ever heard of Luke Williams

Ideal fit! Not sure it would be the appointment I'd make in their current predicament but stylistically it makes sense.stoneroses19 said:
