EDIT: Can't get the cut clip option to work so I'll transcribe it.
"My proposition would be a unique kind of football fan experience and hopefully see the next stars of the premier league which we will have play for charlton for the first team and then sell on to the premier league"
I am really pissed of with this. THD is an extremely promising player. We are nothing but a player farm.
Doubt the fee paid for a season security for Katrien. Dick has Archie progressed at all physically over close season? Could he cover the odd game?
KM and RD probably think so.
Shouldn't be letting THD go. A club like Huddersfield can't be offering much for our 20 year old back up player.
He's got to be worth more to us than any money we might receive. Edwards may step up but THD is much more experience with around 50-60 appearances in first team football including loans (Champ, League One and Two plus cups). Plus we've dropped down a division. Ideal as a player that gives us cover at LM as well as LB.
If this happens it's a reminder why we want RD to sell. He's finally letting an appropriate manager build his own squad, but everyone is for sale and thanks to KM the whole football world knows their vision to sell young players.
You can't get the best price if everyone knows you're looking to sell the better young players every season. Much harder to build a strong squad if you're doing that as well.
I'm pissed off at this because he's much faster than Fox and can fill in at either side in the full-back position, but it's obvious Slade doesn't rate him much.
Not sure if anyone else noticed but I'm pretty sure he was one of the first down the tunnel on Saturday at Walsall and didn't come over to thank the travelling fans, just saying like.
How predictable, first time in a long time we are getting results and the squad is finally beginning to come together, the fans seem a bit happier then the scum try and do their utmost to get everyone's back up again. What was it Murray said, the beauty we have about them being in charge is we don't have to sell our young players straight away, ffs we are now losing them to the likes of fucking Huddersfield. These scum bags need to go, it's like they are taking pleasure out of pissing everyone off, in fact they are. Your scum of the earth Katrien. If this turns out to be a load of old shit and he stays then I still stand by my words.
Not sure what to make of this. I thought THD would be making a strong challenge for the LB slot, but there has been no real signs this season.
So as Sheedy said above, it makes you wonder if he's not a part of Slade's plans and if he isn't then possibly it's better to get a fee towards a creative midfield player.
On the other hand I've always thought he showed more promise than Fox, so who knows.
I suppose it all depends on what the fee would be. If it's £500K plus then it's possibly a good deal. If it's £250K or less, then it's possibly not.
Maybe if you all knew how he punched every member of staff in the face you wouldn't care as much. Fox is the best left back we've had in our history so no loss.
Absolutely gutted, much the better player compared to Fox who is solid but nothing more. THD has potential to really develop, Huddersfield see that but somehow the people who make decision at Charlton don't. Beyond a joke.
He'll be off to be with his mate Kasey Palmer for the season at least.

Squirrel face must have thought teams at the top after five games get promoted.

Winky thing
Plus THD can cover LB and LM

Mistake to let him go in my view. Good cover for a number of positions.

Permission to talk means if they offer anything, he is off.
Gone by Friday.
