Sad story, I didn't agree with his most recent involvement but I hope his health improves and I hope the fans remember his 25 year involvement and not let him leave with a bitter taste from his recent decisions in the last 2.5 years.
Been a big critic lately but wish him well in his fight against the illness and I believe now he has left, that over time the thoughts of him will always be more about the return to the Valley, the brilliant promotions and the premier years he helped bring.
Get well soon Richard. No idea if we'd have a club had he not been involved over the last 25 years. I hope the comments in here acknowledge all the good he has done and not focus on the less illustrious past couple of years.
I dare say some will say this paves a way for Peter Varney and co now....
He's done a fantastic job at this club of ours, and it is is sad that the last couple of years have tarnished all the good work previous to this. He is best off out of it now, and I hope he recovers in due course.
Get well soon Mr Murray. Sad story and hope he makes a full recovery.
I can't bring myself to say thank you for your time at the club as I feel the last 3 years have completely undone all your previous work and then some.
With the diagnosis he has, he's better off out of Charlton. I refuse to forget all the good he has done for CAFC even though I am as disappointed as any of us with his role since the Belgian takeover. I hope he is soon fit and well again.
I wish RM well. Without Murray we wouldn't have the stadium we have now. OK he has monumentally cocked up with his support for The Regime and has alienated himself with the fans, however good people make mistakes too, I believe RM is a decent bloke, but has been taken for a ride along with the rest of us.

hope he is ok though wouldn't wish ill on anyone.
I firmly believe that he had burnt his boats at the club and his position was untenable, but I wish him all the best for his health and well-being.
We've just been told that he is having work done on some malignant tumours so please show some respect.
Now we should target Tony get her isolated and she goes.

Get Well Soon.
Hope to see him fit and well back at the Valley soon.
