I think it's good for Pearce to get some more minutes
Indeed I don't understand why more players coming back from injury won't play in these matches. In the old days it was normal to play a couple of reserve matches before returning to the first team after an sizeable injury layoff.
Why isn't Lennon playing today as well? He's only had cameos (of varying degrees of success) in the last couple of weeks

Lennon has been back from injury for some time but he played a few U23 games when he did come back.

He hasn't started since the 3rd though, and to be fair has still looked quite "rusty" whenever he's appeared on the pitch...
I watched the game - Charlton struggled to get any real momentum until mid way into the second half and to be honest a lot of the time it was due to Zyro being totally off the pace. Playing in a central role did not necessarily look alien too him, but he was very slow and at times you could see other players were frustrated when they tried to move through the phases at a higher tempo, as he either missed the run or simply did not react. I'm sure this is mainly down to no game time at all, which questions why he is on loan in the first place, as the only club who will benefit is Wolves. However he did not show me any glimpses of being at that level. To his credit he persevered and he seemed to get a bit more confident as the game went on. He looks a powerful athlete and that was the biggest disappointment as he never really used that to his advantage. Ajose worked hard for the team and Pearce seemed to enjoy the 90 minutes and his vocal support helped. Paige also looks to be getting stronger and he again looks a real team player and encouraging the younger pros. Albie Morgan played well and overall Ipswich will probably feel a bit hard done by. It was a shame not to see Doughty until late on as he Morgan and Paige combined very well last week. Charlton basically won the game through a peroid in the second half where Ipswich seemed to tire. A real smash a grab performance, that I'm sure will be seen as three important points, as the league is very tight this year. Robinson was there as was McCarthy.

TOLD YOU HE WAS A GREAT KEEPER
We have struggled to hold leads in recent weeks.
In the last 3 days(since a certain player has returned) we have held onto a 2-1 lead twice
