I really don't see why Hanlan or Lapslie couldn't have been on the bench on Saturday
As has been said many times, I genuinely believe that KR has done it to say to the press, the fans and Roland, look I have a small squad and I cant even fill the bench

Lapsie is miles off being ready. I want to like the lad, but his few first team appearances have scared me.
Agreed, unfortunately the game turned in Blackpool's favour, when Lapslie came on and continuously lost the ball.
Scott Parker started like that - went to Norwich on loan and returned a new man. Sometimes the only way to get experience is to get thrown in at the deep end

If 3 players had gone off injured by the 80 minute mark, I'd rather have options on the bench to bring on than either nobody or injured/unfit players. If JFC had been forced to come on, got injured and been out for a month it would have been ridiculous
Was this postponed game at home ? I thought we'd spent big money on new pitches & drainage ?
Went there this afternoon, from the gate to the changing room the whole area is a swamp, the pitches seem to drain better than the surrounding areas, the referee made 2 inspections but there was too much laying water on the pitch. I cannot see what work has gone on in the last 3 years & the training ground is in worse state than when we moved in 30 odd years ago. Thanks Roland.

A training ground like a swamp is perhaps a fitting epitaph to the RD era

Personally, I'd rather use the word "bog" to describe it, @killerandflash .

Thanks Roland.
Good point well made. Send George on loan then
Very low grade lies.
Note LFC give the time as GMT for all their fans who don't come from Merseyside.
