I watched the game, I thought at one stage they were doing the Posnan (sp) thing where they all turn around. Until NBC showed what was going on, there was scuffles going off everywhere and most of the crowd were watching that. The commentator started banging on about their license should they extend the capacity, but by the end of the game it was apparent that the ground is to big for them
Don' really believe this as has been stated season tickets for West Spam have sold out. If it is true . . . basically they can do one and don't rush back!
West Ham have gone from being a highly respected and liked club generally to being one of the most hated clubs in the country almost overnight. Well done Gullivan! Relegation? How we would laugh!
Sky just reported scuffles among some sections of the home support.
The comments on twitter mention scuffles breaking out all over the ground, whilst fans were bemoaning the lack of police inside the ground. Apparently police were turning up late to a lot of the scuffles, but when questioned about why they were they responded that West Ham didn't want a police presence INSIDE the ground...
There was also a video on Twitter of a fight breaking out about a week or two ago, and the stewards looking on - not really knowing what to do.
Stadium too big for them + inexperienced stewards + lack of policing inside the stadium + shitty football and angry fans = taxpayer funded madness.

A few chaps at work (all hammers) were taking about the opening game vs Bournemouth recently. Apparently turnstiles were totally rammed with five minutes to kick off, so stewards opened the flood gates and let any Tom,dick and Harry into the ground. Might not seem like much, but considering thay anyone could stroll in without so much as showing a ticket is a seriously worrying scenario.

They're letting in West Ham fans anyway, so it's a pretty undesirable scenario either way.
Stop talking crap. There is a long waiting list for season tickets at West Ham . Random Charlton fans would not get a look in. This is just one of those threads to wind people up written by some brainless moron who has too much time on his or her hands.
