They have probably been warned and pressured by the league, by the police and by Burnley that Charlton Athletic is failing to control events.
They have thrown money at it judging by the forces of police and blue jackets we have been seeing increasing, and it isn't working.
So to avoid risk and censure, and to save on operating costs, thinks Katrien, have it behind closed doors, a replayed match would have to be behind closed doors anyway she is probably saying to herself.
We can screen it live on youtube or something to indicate our love and respect for the real fans, so nobody misses out is probably the logic. let them eat cake.
Go on then. I very dare you. Behind closed doors. Do it.
If the League has finally cottoned on that RD and KM are not controlling events then this is to be welcomed - pity they didn't spot it two years ago like the rest of us. Does fit and proper actually mean anything to tehm?
Chris Solly has been a great servant to the club. He is Charlton through and through.
The poor bloke has fought off all the crap from the regime...and due to further awful treatment, he eventually had to tell her to F*ck off. Those words will probably be the end. I doubt he will ever wear the shirt again.
He must feel like the last 2 years has hugely dented a usually short lived playing career.
What a total waste of time for him and Incredibly unappreciated.
Chris, the club doesn't deserve your loyalty. The fans do, the club does not.
Move on and recapture that spark you had a few years ago.
Play for a British manager that knows what he's doing.
Chris Solly had to be replaced by Marco Motta twelve minutes from the end of the Derby game, after picking up an ankle knock.
The injury kept him out of the Bolton and Brighton games, but he has a chance of being fit for the trip to Leeds on Saturday.
Members of the Fans Forum were told at their meeting on Monday that the club were talking to Solly about a new contract.
Who do we believe folks? Solly himself who relayed the information to a supporter or our intrepid defender of the indefensible good ol' Captain Cockwomble above?
I mean its not as if Charlton Athletic under this regime have ever tried to offload a player behind his back in the past is it - oh no!! The story confirmed by Michel Morrison that he was nearly offloaded to some obscure club in Romania was obviously a figment of bitter ex-employee Morro's imagination.

Well, I for one, am relieved, because if there's one thing I've learned over the last couple of years is we can believe implicitly everything the regime says.
The comments from others must clearly, therefore be baseless allegations...
Though, if I was being ever so slightly picky, I might suggest that telling Chris Solly that he can feck off if he thinks he is getting a new contract would qualify as "talking about a new contract".
And I may query why so many Charlton players end up having moving injuries (Henderson, Solly, etc.), but that's only because I want to fuel the conspiracy mania.
Posted on the sponsor's dinner thread but perhaps better off here- This story about Solly is astonishing. If true, for me, it is up there with selling Yann and sacking SCP. It does bother me though that the story appears to originate from a Gillingham player with previous rumours or asides that there was a senior player hawked around for loaning out. The validity of the story is important because it may be that Solly was disciplined or dropped for what some posters imply he said at the dinner, which is wrong true or not. If he was treated this way and it can be verified then I am sure that even the wavering supporters will up their game to ensure that the regime fucks off. Protest indeed but definitely do not line Roland’s pockets any further!
but what will people do if they need a beer at half time ??? yes some people just can't go without for 105 minutes !!!!!!!!!!
Straight after the game saturday walking down the stairs only to see a black & white scarf disappear into crossbars ???????? What is it with these people ?
Saturday in the west stand.....
Hah - I think I can see the lad who got Sanogo on the back of his bloody shirt.

Quite obviously don't understand the term 'knock' if it's keeping you out for that long. If you aren't 'fit' to travel a fortnight after taking a 'knock' then I think you have been misdiagnosed.
I wonder if even you yourself below what you spout or you just type what you think sounds plausible.. We'd all love to know the thought process!

Oh well there you have it.
Colin has spoken so it must be true....
Earlier on in the thread somebody mentioned it was a knee injury and he wouldn't be risked for the rest of the season, yet you say it's an ankle knock and he have a chance for Saturday. The OP states it he has been left out for non footballing reasons.
Colin1961 is right according to Ketts, but that is probably where he got it from:

I still think they hawked him to Gillingham & this is damage control - probably advised by the UN Secretary for Disaster Relief or whoever they have brought in to manage the club for them.
Morro to Arges Pitesi Watt to Cardiff/ Blackburn Vetokele to Bolton
Thought it said the Club were in discussions about his contract, could be anything, my guess would be offering a settlement to get his wages off the books
I can't imagine his wages would be that high when compared to the likes of Igor, Kashi, Bauer and Sarr. Sarr came in for a large fee from Sporting Lisbon, his wages won't be low
If Chris Solly does leave us perhaps we can get him to spill the beans to what has been going on and why he has been left out of the team
That's the first issue of VOTV for season 2016-17 sorted then.
And possible the next couple as well depending on what beans get spilled!
Although we would all like to know the truth, I don't think we will hear it from a currently player. It would have to be from someone that has retired. Why would Solly damage his chances with a new employer for bad-mouthing an old one?
Same reason Powell hasn't come out scathing them, he doesn't want to end up in the unemployable position Curbs got himself into with the West Ham situation.
We could do with someone retiring from football so they can release the truth without harming their futures.
