please don't take the Mickey out of the coffin; how else are you gonna get a coffin through border-control? Main thing is, we got a bit of tv-coverage again. And this goes out on their match of the day program.

Roland Duchâtelet had a difficult relationship with the Standard fans who STVV and Charlton is not going smoothly Not loved by the fans of Standard STVV and Charlton, what is it with the fans and Roland Duchâtelet?
Roland Duchâtelet has a difficult relationship with fans. Charlton fans arrived to Sint-Truiden to express their dissatisfaction with the president. STVV where Duchâtelet was president, it also did not go quietly and Standard supporters spat at him. What went wrong in those clubs?
When Duchâtelet decided to buy all the shares of Standard he left his old team STVV dazed behind. After several transfers from stalwarts like Ferrera, Edmilson and Dompé to Standard and Schoofs to Ghent supporters club wrote an angry letter to the man. They lacked the sporting ambition at STVV. That's also the biggest criticism, the man sees his clubs as an investment and is not in the interests of the club.
Standard
At Standard Duchâtelet was not appreciated, the fans even came into his office. There they demanded that their team next season would be as strong as possible. For example, he sacked coach Mircea Rednic, much to the dissatisfaction of the fans because they still had brought European football.
Charlton and Duchâtelet is to say the least not a good marriage. When the 69-year old Belgian arrived at the club the fans were at first worried that it would become a training club for Standard. But when Duchâtelet left Les Rouches and stayed with Charlton fans were not satisfied. Some of the fans even came traveled to STVV with a banner that "Roland and Daisy, time to go" to read was.
synergies
Duchâtelet the strings also owned by the German Carl Zeiss Jena and the Spanish Alcorcon. "This is positive because of the synergy between different activities. It is an advantage to be active in several countries, in terms of scouting and the shifting of players," Duchâtelet told Sporza.
He also defends himself on the discontent at Charlton and the protests of the fans, "That was a small demonstration of 200 people, while there were 10,000 or 15,000 fans in the stadium who have not argued."

What makes me laugh about this one is Marlon just sitting staring at a banner 1 inch from his face clasping his hands and Luke trying to peer from under !

Huh ? Is this what Pinnochio is telling him ? :-)
Just a little reminder that the season may end, the protests won't.
Unless you get stuck in Folkestone for a minimum of 5 hours........
PS. I seriously don't think that "The Brewery", as you call it, exists...........
