'"Greetings once again from Charlton Athletic fans. Thank-you for the great reception you gave us in February at your game vs Zulte-Waregem and during the whole of our visit.

    ROLAND DUCHATELET:

    - continues to ignore our pleas for him to leave our club, continues to not attend our games so we come again to Belgium to protest.

    - 'Doesn't do failure'? In the over two years he's owned our club has spent over ¢11million, use 51 different players, and five different inexperienced coaches from his network; he is destroying our club.

    - has almost certainly relegated us to the third tier of English football by bringing in sub-standard players, often from 'The Network'.

    - after vocal protests at every home game, he told us we 'wanted the club to fail', further uniting the fans against him and causing the Head of Communications to resign after only 46 days.

    - has caused a toxic atmosphere, making home attendances plummet and club sponsors to leave

    - is driving Charlton to financial oblivion; Charlton now owe Staprix over 50 million euros and this increases daily, all because of his arrogance, stupidity and misguided beliefs.

    - is seen as a fool and a laughing stock in football circles in England and elsewhere.

    - DUCHATELET MUST GO before our proud 111 year-old club, where our parents, grandparents, children and grand-children have their heritage, is no more, destroyed by someone who uses it as a football experiment and who has no affiliation to Charlton nor football.

Please support us in ridding Charlton of Duchâtelet. If you can, donate to our protest fund. Follow our actions on Twitter - and if you see Duchâtelet make sure you let him know he is killing Charlton Athletic.

We will not disappear - we will not stop until Duchâtelet leaves Charlton Athletic Football Club.

    KATRIEN MEIRE:

    - a resident of St Truiden and the Charlton Athletic CEO since Duchâtelet bought the club in January 2014 .

    - we welcomed Ms Meire into our hearts – and smiled at the occasional odd comments, thought to be caused by her not being a native English speaker.

    - in implementing Duchâtelet's plans, has made increasingly bizarre, ridiculous and, more importantly, untrue statements.

    - knows little about English football culture or history and does not care about them, or that the fans are the very lifeblood of a football club.

    - refuses to communicate with any of the fans groups, spends little time working as a CEO, and takes holidays in mid-season.

    - when questioned about the four head coaches appointed in sacked by Duchâtelet in under two years, said “They proved to be...the right decision every time".

    - said "Of course the owner does not pick the team, that would be ridiculous", despite previous coaches and ex-players saying this happened.

    - said "Football fans are weird" for supporting their club.

    - like Duchâtelet, is seen as a laughing stock in football circles.

These comments, plus her goading and almost antagonistic attitude towards fans have alienated supporters who now demand her resignation at EVERY game.

Meire has relinquished a promising legal career to become CEO at Charlton, giving her trust to Duchâtelet, who is ruining her career by continuing to place her in the firing line with the fans rather than facing up to the issues caused by his decisions.

Morale at The Valley is at a very low ebb - over the past month 2 senior members of staff at Charlton have resigned, one having worked at The Valley for some 18 years, the other only for 46 days! There are over 3,000 season ticket holders who do now not attend games because of the worsening situation. With our relegation, the future looks extremely bleak.

Katrien – GO, before Duchâtelet kills your career."

  • Did they take the banner away again?

Quite. Seems like Belgian authorities have their priorities wrong when it comes to cracking down.

SMT probably all from the Duchatelet clan.

A number of Charlton fans continued the protests in SE7 today with a demonstration outside and inside the game between STTV and Lokeren tonight in Sint Truiden, Belgium.

Joined by a number of similarly disaffected STTV fans, Charlton fans marched with a coffin, symbolizing the death of Charlton Athletic, and banner to the ground.

Once inside, Charlton fans unfurled a banner showing their hatred of the regime and enjoyed a loud chorus of Valley Floyd Road. STTV's head of security soon confiscated the banner and ejected Charlton fans to a chorus of boos. Throughout their stay in Belgium, Charlton fans were warmly greeted by STTV fans. We are brothers & sisters together in this fight.

Today probably won't persuade Roland to sell, but he'll know we were here and continued action, both in London and Belgium, will show him that Charlton were the wrong club to buy.

    We will win.

P.s Shame we were thrown out, quite an exciting 2-2 just before half time.

Who provided the coffin? Was it 'the' coffin? Impressive stuff if it was ours? Who smuggled that onto Eurostar?

Excellent effort by all concerned. Hope the beer is flowing.
