  • Please play Igor and Mak up front, they have good understanding and savaged Rotherham the last time they started together.
  • 3-2 Charlton win. Time for my nap.
  • Just saw on the OS that JBG is a doubt. I wonder if that might be some misinformation, but being out almost two weeks for concussion would mean it's far more serious than expected.

No Bradley Johnson for Derby which is a big plus.

Read something on the SLP that its a problem with his ear which is leaving him struggling with his balance.

Sounds more like he's been out on an all week bender!!
  • Ugh that sounds miserable, hang over or ear problem.
  • Sounds as if there isn't any protests planned , other than the 12pm one...
  • Hope we do something more original than throwing stuff on the pitch

    0-2
  • possible perforated ear

  • Can't recall looking forward to a game with less anticipation. The fat lady is gargling in the corner and I'm struggling to give a stuff any more. If it was less attractive oppo than Derby I could be tempted to give it a miss. Can only hope for a good open game of football between two teams whose destiny is already set. Don't really care what the score is. Hope there is a novel protest panned. It's all I go for these days.

  • @Davo55 I can't make the game I have to set off at 3 in order to hopefully make good on a promise.

But if you need any help before the game PM me to let me know.
  • I think we're OK for tomorrow @Alwaysneil, but if you fancy the pre-match beach party shades (at the very least) are the must-have accessory...

@Davo55 I think my Hawaiian shirts are lost in an attic, most of them were shameful.

Is it a 1.30 start with a body board (long board isn't here) a wetsuit and a pair of comedy shades? If so where should I turn up?

    Isn't Katrien there?

  • Isn't Katrien there?

Are you trying to ask whether he picked up an infection from Katrien ?

  • No, just two unrelated observations. What are you insinuating?
  • Beach party idea is absolutely brilliant... Whoever has come up with this, hats off. I really hope a lorry full of sand is dumped in the car park and deck chairs everywhere, there is no way they would be able to stop it bar getting Fraye in to do a reckie with a Hoover. Tip the press off here and this could really make Katriene stand down. Incompetence highlighted not just in the sports industry but her legal profession too
  • Neil and all - just go overboard on the holiday piss take. Shades, sun hats, shorts, swimming goggles, sun block, even a wetsuit and body board!, hankie on head, dodgy Hawaiian shirts, whatever you got. Never mind the rain. There'll be music and fun piss take stuff from about 1.45 or 2 near the club shop.
  • What's more awkward than English people in over the top holiday gear on holiday on the continent? Those same people in a car park in London...when it's raining.

  • My Charlton shirt has arrived...
Left it in the fridge to acclimatise, it doesn't speak Ozzie but I feel it's frantically trying to say something.
    Any ideas...?
  • Darren Wassall took his squad to Barcelona for some mid week warm weather training. Our Arry went too!

CAFC to win by 3 goal margin ;-)
  • Should be a good open game as we seek a win to prolong the agony. Not sure we will get it though, 3-2 to Derby, a good one for the neutral.

So happy to see Old 'Onest 'Arry's knee has improved just in time to take over handling money and traveling to sunny places!
  • Unable to make it today for family reasons.

The football is irrelevant as we cannot stay up now but I really hope the Upbeats have a great day.

0-1 Loss and an own goal to boot.

we then win all our remaining games 1-0 and still get relegated.

Well it was 0-1 at least so let's hope for the goal rush to win all the rest.
  • Don't think we have ever won on 16th April, played something like 20 off times, 5 draws.

Another 16th April game without a win.
