I wish mate first real day home in weeks so it’s on the TV with the PPV
Way too far for Tony he has 1 very slim chance the way I see it and that’s to catch Usyk early within two or three rds Max any longer and tony goes night night
Have fun Bob! Hoping I'll catch it on PPV, though Crolla and Burns don't make for the most exciting undercard. I think Bellew could maybe hang on the distance. Won't win, though I've really warmed to him since the Haye fights
Bellew is not anywhere near the same league as Usyk. He totally dominated everyone in the super series and will dominate then stop Bellew.
Bellew has a punches chance but Gassiev is a better fighter than Bellew and he didn't land a glove on Usyk
Even when Gassiev did land, it didn't budge Usyk at all. Everyone on twitter giving Bellew a puncher's chance are acting as if he's got concrete hands. I reckon Tony will last the distance, but will be totally outboxed for the duration
Won’t last long and as soon as Bellew goes down his corner and ref won’t let it go on for too much longer
He does like a trip to the deck does Bellew
I don't wish Bellew any malice, he knows a lot about boxing, as he should he was an ABA champion and has had a long career. He's been very well manoeuvred by himself and Hearn and made a lot of cash as did Haye on their two fights and knew how washed up Haye was and that us mug punter public would go for it.
Undercard is again underwhelming for a box office event, Hearn giving his fighters airtime is all it is
A lot has been made of Usyks lack of knockout power but I think he's just not in a position where he needs to go looking for knockouts and has the engine and skill to dominate a 12 round fight. Bellew's only hope is to be dirty and look to cut Usyk and see if he can force a change of tactic and get him into a shootout. Can't see it though personally
Was not a fan but, I like Bellew . Not technically the best boxer BUT it appears to me he'll fight anyone put in front of him, he has bags of spirit, and is an honest guy, no one gave him a chance against 'Haye the Toe' (I know Haye got injured) I wish him all the luck tonight and hopes he wins.
I was there when he beat makabu and sometimes you are privileged to be part of a night that is the culmination and pinnacle of that team or persons life
I genuinely believe that Wembley in 98 was and will be my greatest ever Charlton moment
I have watched Tony fight on the tv and being the support act but I knew I had to be at goodison to see him try and win the WBC
It was a certainty for that he’d achieve it there in the middle of his club ,
He didn’t fail that night he delivered big time and it was a truly exceptional evening
I’d be extremely happy if he done something that totally amazed me and the world tonight because he is a great man a real decent human being
But this is Usyk he is like a giant Lomachenko I just can’t see anything other than a beating for TB
That is one of the most disgusting swellings that I have ever seen on a boxers head and both the ref and Joe gallagher let that fight go on for 60 seconds more than it should , it may not sound much but he took 15-20 punches more than he should’ve.
I get the nice guy/ cult hero thing and to be honest I quite like him just don't think he should be on every PPV card when he doesn't put the effort in to get in shape.

Fancied Bellew against Haye both times but I fear Usyk will dictate the style and pace of this one.
Still think Bellew could trouble him though if he doesn’t get frustrated.
