I think you have to consider that fact that Usyk, the much smaller man really took the fight to the much bigger man. Things like that might just sway a judge.

Wasn't in danger of getting knocked out but definitely felt them.
What a fight, two of the best at what they do leaving it all out there. Not like Wardley v Clarke the other week, like two very smart boxers and tacticians having at it.
First 3 rounds were very hard to score either way, then I felt Fury started to take control and for some reason didn't follow up that beauty of a right uppercut nor did he press his advantage in the following rounds. Usyk, that man just found another gear. Hard as nails in the same way Nigel Benn, Carl Froch, Miguel Cotto and to be honest Floyd is too. Finds his heart in a trench. Credit to that tough gypsy Fury too for not taking the route out he was offered and credit to Usyk who showed remarkable sportmanship to not splatter Fury to the 4 winds when he could have badly hurt him.
I'm mostly delighted the fight was scored to the rightful winner. I thought a draw was worth putting cash on as I've seen the good biggie v good smally too many times to back Usyk with hard cash but have always felt he is the destructive force in the division. Try and box him like Bellew did and he will get you when you gas.
Not completely sure how 1 judge scored it to Fury but in the realms of boxing decisions that wind me up this one doesn't even register. I doubt we will see Fury in a.boxong ring with Usyk again and I suspect Usyk might walk away now as having completed boxing and good for him if he does, how do you top this?

It wasn’t one punch. It was even after four rounds. Fury looked good for a bit then get absolutely battered for two rounds straight. I don’t agree it was one punch that turned the fight. I’ve not heard anyone else agree with that.
Watching this back again, that non-stoppage is dodgy as fuck. Fury doesn't actually hit the deck. Why does the ref stop this and give him a count... knee doesn't touch the canvas, nor do gloves. Either call the fight or let usyk take the punch that wouldve sent him to

There's not actually a clear definition of when there should be a standing 8, is there? I know it's at the discretion of the ref, that fury fought on and and we saw a great fight, but the ref is there to protect the boxer. Fury was on rollerskates and had been all over the place wobbling from one side of the ring to the other. Letting him get his head smashed in repeatedly all across the ring showing no guard and no ability to fight back does not warrant a standing 8, its a TKO, he was wobbling trying to find what little of the ring he could use to prop himself up, with no idea where he was. Whether he recovered well or not is irrelevant, we have seen boxers get brain damage/worse taking less than fury took when he was out on his feet

TBH if he hadn't pissed about for the first 3 rounds he would probably have edged it regardless of the knock down.
