They were nothing like Naz moves the guy was doing things you only get away with in a cage the biggest difference still between the two was naz could box
MVP will get sparked out the first real opponent he meets
I watched Joyce, thought he looked very good and a class above a potential tricky opponent. I did wonder why he didnt stop him earlier as seemed to hold back a bit but i think it was sensible as the other guy could have landed a knockout if he give him a chance.
Haye's dad is a bit of a helmet, used to like Haye but he is a bit of a fraud these days. His dad goes to Eltham poker club and chats so much drivel and moans the whole time, i was there once where he kicked off with the owner as he owed the club £300 and won a comp but wanted payment in full, owner didnt back down which was good to see looked like it was going to kick off.
So tonight you have possibly the worst PPV card Eddie has put on ,
there was one decent fight left on it frank the wise guy and now thats no longer on it is a shocker
question has to be asked why AJ is the weight he is for Takam its got the i am going for a steam roller all over him approach which is not the right one for Takam imo, i would have rather seen AJ lighter especially as Takam is durable and quite easily able to take the fight into the later rds where that weight will hinder AJ , you can get very good odds on an upset tonight so if you have a spare £20 and like an outside bet Takam to TKO/ KO AJ rds 7-12 is a large as 50-1 but has the chance to happen
Embarrassing card, would except better From Hearn, especially when Warren is looking like he's gunna start making more of an effort in getting Degale and Selby on board.
That being said, I'll probably still watching cos got nothing else to do
That is why AJ is at 18 stone his intentions are easy to predict and see , he has it in his mind he will win inside 4 and if honest it is the most probable outcome
The history books are littered with the errors of great heavy weights who underestimated the opponent in front of them
Like I said takam can take a dig he is a difficult spoiler of a fighter the similarities between whyte and him are there to see the difference being if takam catches AJ like whyte did AJ will go over especially if it’s later rds and even more so with him being at 18 stone and no one will convince me he should be that heavy he needed to be lighter than against klitchko he even said that himself
Hence why the odds offered are so huge but in the same vein it is an outcome that could very well happen
Pissed off that sky didn't show the Buatsi fight , the charge £20 and don't even show the full card live , not good.
Totally agree and I don't understand it either, it isn't like there is a glut of boxing content apart from repeated behind the scenes programmes and bullshit interviews.
I thought the Buglioni fight was shit, he does what he does and I like him but he hasn't been able to put his foot on the throttle for what seems like years now. Yarde isn't as good as he is made out to be, shows all the promise but I don't think he wants to be in a ring with the British champ just yet.
This bill is Dillian Whyte v Helenius and a Joshua gimme. 20 quid isn't a bank breaking amount but it takes the fucking piss for 78000 tickets being sold at the prices they were and however many pay per view buys a promoter is unable to put together a competitive undercard.
I don't like Frank Warren either but I will say his cards are being better matched than these Hearn fanboy bullshit matches
Actually, not a bad replacement on 2 weeks notice. Stylistically far trickier for AJ than stand up straight retirement ready Pulev and has a better chin too. Takam is a heavyweight who keeps in shape and is better than former world title victims Molina and Martin. He is also arguably slightly better than Dillion Whyte. No problem with this last minute match up, it is what it is
Ok Eddie I believe you
Ah come on, what bit do you disagree with? Pulev has been dogsh*t since Klitsckho brutally knocked him out and has just been hanging out for a payday. At least Carlos Takam went toe to toe with Joseph Parker over 12 rounds for the WBO strap so it’s a great comparison fight for AJ v Parker next year. I’d rather this fight than a cancellation and I’d prefer it over Pulev full stop if Takam had a full camp
He LOST to Parker, have you seen Parker fight?? Its a complete no contest and will be over within 6 minutes. Happy to have a £10 bet, loser donates to the Upbeats if you fancy.
Six minutes? As in, we both wager a tenner, and if it's a Joshua win within one or two, I donate a tenner, if not then you do?
I'd be happy to take that, I doubt AJ will knock him out that quickly.

You can't get away with it in MMA.

Katie Taylor in there now, this Argentinian girl is tough. Taking everything.

He lost to Chisora in my opinion
If the intention was to send people to sleep this undercard has achieved that. Fucking stinker of a bill
End of
Not sure I'll make the end of the Joshua fight.
