No friend of Charlton supporters and on their side so enemy. Actions speak louder than words.
Will have to be some staggering revelations in his memoirs to alter that view now. I would love to know what Curbishley thinks about all this and about RM's steadfast love in with them.
Lets not forget a lot of people lost a lot of money as well when there shares turned into dust due to his awful decision making post-Curbs. Meanwhile Murray can still get some of his wedge back.
Could and should be doing a lot more in his role even if supportive of the regime there are meetings with fan groups he could be attending but he doesn't.
Don't think I could say enemy but i'd say from hero to zero.
What do I put you down as? I do want to misrepresent, and this thread is effectively a poll.
He's Charlton through and through, so friend, even if he's made lots of mistakes in the last few years. Maybe he is reluctant to criticise because he is aware of the mistakes he made post Curbishley?

not everyone can be wrong
can they..??
I think some of the negative views are too extreme and so wrong. I do get the frustration, although we don't know what he says in private.
Doesn't matter what you say in private when you are letting the Club you supposedly care so much about die in front of your eyes.
Enemy and that was noticeable from the first VIP meeting, he's there at the front line for a reason and we can target him as much as RD & KM. They all have their weak spots.
On one of the video-ed meetings (VIP?) he said he genuinely believed that RD would be a good owner, and if not he would resign. Sadly, I am still waiting and now feel I have waited too long.
That's enemy in long hand, but it pains me to say it and I still can't bring myself to join in with the anti RM protest chants, as he was central to a lot of the best times.
Anybody siding with the Belgians can only be deemed as the ememy. Really disappointed with him, ive spoken with him on a couple of occasions a number of years ago and always considered him a really good bloke. Now I just consider him as part of the regime.

Instead he is just siding with them probably because he is afraid of losing his place on the board if not.
The only thing that Duchatelelt has ever said that makes some sense is that the fans should respect him.
It's hard for me to say he is the enemy, but he is like an old friend who has turned on you.
I just wish that he would wake up and start to do what's right regardless of the consequences for his position at the club.

Directly responsible for our club's downfall.
Scum.
Enemy
Of that total cockwomble Roland and the Witch.
Enemy.
Enemy for a long time now.
