Dropping into league one would be simply a disaster on all fronts , a financial disaster it's the last thing you need .
good post .. I wonder if your result yesterday will lead to Jackett (no tie) being sacked before Wolves take the plunge ..
and NO NO NO .. relegation for us would be a catastrophe of Titanic proportions .. excuse the hyperbole .. disastrous, death knell, no salvation, no resurrection during my lifetime
If Jacket does get the bullet he'd be a good fit for us...........Oh hang on a minute we don't do experienced Championship British managers at their level of pay. Anyway Kenny has already performed miracles once in South East London and probably wouldn't want to go through all that again.
I suspect that uncle Ken's miracle man days are over .. he's made a pig's ear of managing an expensive Wolves squad most of whom he signed .. he'd certainly struggle to turn our thin, callow and inexperienced bunch into overnight winners
I always said he's a very good lower league manager but lacks something for championship and above.
After travelling to Burnley Saturday I had a lot of thinking to do on the train home. We were poor, this is obvious. If we are getting thumped by Burnley we obviously don't have the players to perform regularly in this division. Maybe relegation could be a blessing in disguise. We could clear out some dead wood then get some seasoned pros in like Joey Barton who could be just what we need. Come on you Addicks!
Maybe a drop will do us good?
Oh, go on then, I'll have a drop of whatever you're having.
Cant see that dropping down is a good thing what so ever. Potentially we could get to play more games but they would be cup games, we don't do cups. What would be good for us is; everything on the other threads people have posted for about the last 18 months, like, run the club properly and stop the weird experiments.
To be fair to Operation Pig, we did play well against Wednesday. And QPR and Hull. And for 10 minutes against Fulham. The rest has been average to awful, which is why we are in the position we are in. Bristol City is the next of our relegation rivals for us to face - we haven't beaten any, so on that alone, we are in trouble. Whether that gets turned around depends on what happens in January, but does anyone really believe we'll get anyone good in?

All over this IF..............I thought seasoned pros would be brought in, rather than network flops/cheap europeans/kids/rejects that no one else wants. I take it you no longer feel a play off push is realistic? I also think that Burnely are a good side, with some good experienced players, Vokes, Barton etc.
If Sheffield Utd (sadly with far better support than us) with a decent English manager can't get back up to the Championship how the hell can we with these clowns in charge?

All the pigs up here hate him ..saying he's this that and the other ...
Let then stay down there for as long as possible I'd even come in the charlton end at blane if you did drop, however I don't see it .
As bad as we've been, I don't think we will go down. Saying that, if Fraeye stays in charge, we will be playing league 1 football next year. There's no doubt in my mind that he's a nice guy but the bloke is stealing a living at the moment. He's basically gone from Belgian third tier strugglers (semi pro) to English second tier strugglers. What kind of progress is that?

Bolton mkd and Rotherham are my tips .
Against whom we have 2 points from three games this season...

Mate, if you want to become CL's official troll, then inbox PL54 and discuss it between yourselves.
I think some nutter trots this out for every club that's near the relegation zone and the answer is no, relegation will not be better because;
-There will be a contraction in finances
-Katrien was recently lauding how well she'd done at tying up the majority of the squad on multi year deals so I'm not sure how we would clear out the "deadwood"'
-Charlton are a less enticing prospect for a potential new owner in league one
-We'll be in a far weaker position to attract fans who might otherwise be tempted to go to watch West Ham at the Olympic Stadium if we start two divisions apart (although, of course a according to Katrien this isn't s risk)
-Our exciting young prospects will far less inclined to stay with us for a season (or three) of being kicked around at Fleetwood & Oldham when the big Premier league teams come knocking.
And that's just off the top of my head. So no, you couldn't be more wrong, relegation at this point within the current context will be one of the worst things to happen to this football club, it's almost a perfect storm from which we will struggle to fully recover, ever.
Our 'exciting young prospects' do not stick around in the Championship either-Shelvey, Jenkinson, Poyet and Gomez were in the first team for no time at all.
Quite - imagine how much harder it'll be to not only retain but attract young talent in League One.
Honestly, with the other factors I mentioned, this is probably the worst time in our history to be relegated to the third tier and I genuinely do not think the people running out club grasp just how catastrophic it will be.
Hang on a minute. This is nothing new Bowyer, Barness, Williams, Arter and Francis to name a few.

I don't know what a troll is and have no idea what pl54 means either. If you don't agree with my comments does that mean I'm not welcome to post them? If I am upsetting ppl by saying my viewd maybe I wont bother! !!

From the play offs to relegation in the space of a week.

The substance of this post should be put on a leaflet & handed to everyone entering the turnstiles at an upcoming home game.
Those already boycotting &/or protesting in some manner are already fully aware that the very future of our Club could be at stake if the current regime & their experiment continues.
But it's time a comprehensive list of pointers as to what relegation would mean is brought to the attention of the "doubters" as that possibility draws ever closer match by match.
Whilst we continue to look for ways of targeting KM & RD, I feel it's important to concentrate on those who appear to be oblivious of our dire situation....more strength in numbers etc.
As others have rightly stated, we must not let the regime divide us but seek ways of bringing the vast majority of fans onside.

Last week you thought we can make the play offs. This week you think we're going down.
Whether you're genuine or trolling, you can't be taken seriously. Post away, but don't expect people to listen.

Classic trolling
Do us a favour, Obi Wan Knobe of trollife, and post up the classic rules of trolling for us all to become enlightened. As a service to those of us unaware of the mysteries, you understand! ;-)
There is enough shit written on this site, everyone is entitled to post it and 98% of posters do it from time to time, me included, some people want to take their heads out there arses. If you don't like what he says don't read it or ignore it.I got a clue what a troll is but that's coz, I don't let the internet rule my life enough to know what one is.
Comments
He said we wouldn't be relegated.
Or is the rule that we only pick on Charlton fans?
;-)
"Good shape, Good team, Looking very good... Terrible Shape, Terrible team, Looking very bad..."
