That's cracking news. Good to see something nice happen for him and his wife. They'll find the pregnancy difficult and nerve wracking due to what happened last year, but fingers crossed it all goes without a hitch from here on. Wishing them both all the best.
Argh been through it and still not over it... I could barely read that... But fingers crossed for the pregnancy because if it goes well it will be the best therapy imaginable
We lost a daughter at three days old which was obviously extremely distressing for both of us and our son. Ironically the following year we had twin daughters both of whom are Charlton supporters. One has a season ticket and the other lives a ten minute walk from the Ipro Stadium. So things did get better even though we still think about the little girl who didn't get to cheer on the club we all love and all the other joys (and sadnesses) that we had when we were growing up. I am sure things will turn out well for Harry.
We had a similar thing losing a baby at 2.days old was a traumatic experience and took a while to get back to normal but you do get better with time and become better in yourself because of it. Hopefully it's the same for them.
Really admire the Burnley fans now, liked the way they carried themselves at The Valley last season and now this. Hopes and thoughts are with young Harry and his Mrs.
Yeah saw this myself, disgusting from the Non-League kid who used the classic "My account was hacked" line to try and get out of trouble... Was good to see all the clubs that he's been involved with (i.e. parent club / loan club / interested club) have all distanced themselves from him too

these desk and armchair warriors ((:<) .. far too easy to type what one would NEVER have the front or the bravery to say out loud, face to face .. I would love to see him go to Arter and apologise .. won't happen though

The best reaction from Arter would be to claim he doesnt have the time to see the idiot.
We always talk about Footballers never having time to spend five minutes with fans and because of that shows how out of touch they are with the rest of us these days; Arter might not be that type as I dont know him but would love him to snub a meeting with the idiot as will put them right in their place!!
Bit annoyed that the BBC and himself seem to think his ADHD and Autism are part to blame (otherwise, why mention these things?). Also him claiming his drinking of beer helped cause it. Maybe these things made him more likely to tweet, but what he said is 100% down to him being absolute scum.

nowadays there is always someone prepared to offer an excuse for another's rubbish behaviour ..
Really dont get why he picked on a Bournemouth player though... the kid admits he's an Arsenal fan and was angry with the fact that Arsenal were 3-0 down... When we were losing against Millwall I would never have taken my frustration out on Harris and the fact that he's a cancer survivor (for example).
Instead I'd find one of my own players to hurl abuse towards!!

Shock horror people with ADHD and autism can also be terrible people as well. I've gone to school with, mates with and worked with people with both of those and although their demeanour can be abrasive at times and they say the wrong things at the wrong times, nothing as sick and twisted as that.
To be honest I think it's a shame this oxygen has got so much press about him..
Strange to see people blaming the medium, as opposed to comments.
The lad has done something really stupid with taking into account the ramifications of what he's done. He now has to live with the consequences. He'll no doubt have learned a very valuable lesson.
This should serve to remind people that what they say online is no different to what they say out in the 'real world'.
Twitter is only useful for News and Live Football Updates (like what Charlton do during a match).
The rest of it is a load of crap: I am eating an apple yeah good for you, dont need to know
Twitter is just the medium, it's not the message.
The issue is what the vile idiot said not the medium he used to broadcast it. Yes twitter allows 100s to read his sick views but that's not twitter's fault anymore than printing is to blame for the Daily Mail.
There's a mob mentality on Twitter that I find so unpleasant I won't go back on there. The degree of snark, and self-satisfaction people get from telling others they've fucked up... I've not looked but I bet the comments directed at the guy who made the original posts are just as bad. I bet thousands of people took delight in telling him how much of a scumbag he is.
Yes, Twitter is the medium, but it's very presence has opened up a can of worms regarding mob mentality. In my head, I picture it like a massive baying pack of people with pitchforks all egging each other on, and every now and then, one of the pack is shoved over a line where they become the target for the rest, who live in perpetual fear that it might one day be them.
There's plenty of good in the social connections FB and Twitter provide, but there's also a lot of bad. A hell of a lot.

I agree that what he posted was disgusting and must have caused considerable upset to Harry and his wife.
I heard that he takes medication for his mental health problems and that it is not supposed to be taken with drink and this may have affected his judgment. Not saying it excuses his behaviour but it may be a factor.

Has changed my opinion of him. Fair play.
Wishing them both all the best.
A great gesture from Burnley fans.
Just read it on my phone, really moving.
