Welling could have been and they still wouldn't have scored

Yep, I have a season ticket at Charlton & Welling and I try to get to Park View Road when Charlton are away, they seriously messed up by giving professional contracts to so many of their players who turned out to be nowhere as good enough. Followed by giving the temporary manager and club legend (Loui Fazakerley) the job full-time, turning out an absolute disaster.

Didn't go tonight but the woeful finishing doesn't surprise me at all, it's just the same old. Welling used to be a fairly decent passing team a couple of seasons ago, and now they just hoof the ball up carelessly to their one striker and even when he has the chance to lay it off, the midfield is never anywhere to be seen.

They were always going to go back down to the National League South sooner than later, they were always punching above their weight financially... sooner Welling's down, the better.

Sounds like you follow two teams who are almost mirror images of each other!

Great result again for Welling yesterday, winning 2.1 at Tranmere after going a goal down. Six points from safety but only four games left for them.

Always a mager risk for small clubs with small budgets going into that division. Do they go and give professional contracts or keep it part time. Gravesend did the same a few seasons back and struggled financially and went back to the south where it was better suited for them.

Now of course Gravesend/ebbsfleet have got some backing when/if they go up.

I do wonder about my life sometimes.

    Support Charlton - shit
    Follow Welling - shit
    Job - shit
    Golf handicap - shit
    Kent CC - shit
    Car - shit
    Many birds - shit

    Sigh.

You can always sort the car. As for the rest? You're just going to accept that your life will always be shit.
