I think it was the woman that played Kat that thought it was a real tube station. Apparently when she got the job she thought it was a right touch that she would be able to get to work so easy.
Looks brand spanking new but you can walk on to the tube from the rail platforms without any barriers. Not sure about getting in and out of the station itself - presumably as their are oyster machines on the platform.
Here's one for you. What station does not have ticket barriers? There is only one.
Stratford High Street on the DLR
London Underground station only - with no ticket barriers. None of the above correct.
Unless you have personally been to every tube station and verified this how are we meant to believe you over any other source on the Internet?
I have. I am part of the Ticket Office closure program. Part of the closures mean that a viewing window needs to be provided over the ticket gates, except for this station as it has no barriers.

Her lawyers contacted Channel 4 about her mighty boosh character. C4 called the lawyers in to view it and it came to nothing in the end.

Fair enough. I wasn't having a go, just know plenty of pub quiz types who insist their answer is right when Google says otherwise, but Google can be wrong and LU is revamping a lot of stations so any info more than a few weeks old is likely to be inaccurate. Luckily you're one of the people in a position to actually have authority on this.

The page is a good read though if you're into this kind of thing. Some interesting tidbits/pub quiz ammo.

Edit: Bo Selecta, not mighty boosh.
