Are you Andy Townsend in disguise? Lol
  • Think we will sneak this one.

Derby under pressure already a bit of a shambles midweek by all accounts - 2-1 away win.

Two up then Bent pulls one back but we hold on!
  • 0-1 jgb 75 mins
  • Watt was limping around after the match on Tuesday, so I expect Luzon is not playing any 'mind games.

We are a team seemingly playing high on confidence, Derby appear to be struggling a bit. That being said, this will be a tough ask to come away with any points.

One thing to be said, is I doubt Luzon will be playing for the draw.
  • I really think we will win this.

    and 0-0
  • Ground out 0 - 0 draw.

    Last game on Channel 5
  • 0-3 (Big Mak, Watt, Bauer) and Pope to save a pen.
  • Don't fancy another Fox goal @Greenie_Snr
  • If Watt is injured from Tuesday's game then what a bad mistake playing him in the game in the first place.

  • 13 - 1 to the Addicks. Easy.
  • From the NewsShopper article:

“Tony Watt is feeling his leg a little bit,” the gaffer said.

“I’m sure he will be ready but we will see.”

Don't think we need to panic yet - everyone saying Watt is out but this direct quote from Luzon would suggest that the most likely scenario is he will be ok.

Either way - maybe it would be better starting him on the bench due to the fact it is one of the toughest away trips of the year....

    Pope
    Solly
    Fox
    Bauer
    Diarra
    Kashi
    Ba
    Cousins
    Bergdich
    JBG
    Makienok

    Subs:

    Jones
    Sarr
    Charles Cook
    Jackson
    Ceballos
    Ahearne Grant
    Watt

If we go a goal up and don't concede, I think we will win this one. However, if both teams fail to find the net, I think we will only get a point from this game.

    Tactical genius Thai

Thumbing through my "Football for Dummies" aparently if they score and we do not reply by scoring as well, we may well lose this...
  • 3 nil Charlton win, sweet dreams are made of this.
  • Going from the cup match the other night - and while I've no doubt he can still bang in the goals - Darren Bent looked a (very large and slow) shadow of his former self. I can already hear a chorus of "Are you Hasselbaink in disguise?"
I'm hoping for an honourable draw.

Not a bad shout going 4-5-1 @ Derby... Bergdich hasnt had a bad start and with him and JBG on the flanks the formation can easily turn into 4-3-3 when going forward
  • I know he hasnt impressed me over Cousins when we've played them yet dont forget Will Hughes is out injured for a number of weeks.

With him missing thats going be a big link in their Midfield gone
  • Our record is absymal up there - but records are there to be broken!!
I'm also of a similar opinion that it'a great time to play them, looks like we've also got confidence, I'll predict 1-1, hoping for a snatched 2-1 win, Watt to start
  • Derby??? i would say with the extra weight their carrying from the last two seasons, Charlton to get a great run on the rails and to win by a nose.

If the 'Fox outside the Box' scores again I would be delighted. I might put a couple of quid on him as anytime scorer....
  • For a minute there I thought you might make a tattoo pledge:)
  • think we'll nick this 1-2

Big Mak and JBG with the goals
  • Derby are under pressure to win this one which could work in our favour. With 3 games in a week you do wonder why Watt played in midweek if he now has a knock. But Derby is a place we just do not perform. 3-0 to the Rams and we are all very disappointed.
  • I think we could be talking about two points dropped at 5 o'clock tomorrow. Think we could be better than we think, and Derby struggling for form.

    1-1

Naturally want us to win, however it's very early in the season and Derby remain favourites for promotion. I know it is a bit of a cliche but I just want a good performance tomorrow, Derby will be well up for this, first game in front of their fans and have a feeling they will really go for us. Will be very happy with a point, however any loss by a one goal deficit wouldn't get me to disheartened.

    Having said that, 1-3.
  • Cant see anything other than a result like last year. Derby come out flying and go 2-0 up and after that both teams will settle for that

Don't think Guy would settle for it

Getting more confident about this one as it gets nearer...

Clement is already under huge pressure (some fans want him gone after Pompey) and if we're at least level at half time, the home fans will get restless and we can go on to dominate the second half like we did against QPR.
