  • I received my season ticket/card today. Not at all bad as I only called up on Monday to tell them they'd got it wrong.

    just spoke to my parents, when you now get through to the Club there is a message saying if you have not received it by Wednesday then please ring back then. Valley Express stuff going out today.

    Yes. My Dad paid with a cheque and it took weeks to appear on his bank statement. When I say weeks I think it was six weeks.

    Of course not! I was charged for mine days after ordering online, but 4 days before the season starts and still no sign of mine (or my Dad's)

I received email confirmation with an order number so understandably thought i could sit back and wait for my tickets to arrive. I called the ticket office this morning and it turns out that due to a glitch they had no record of my order, despite the confirmation email thanking me for renewing. Fortunately my seats were still available otherwise I would have been seriously pissed off. They only tried to charge me the higher fee as well, despite my initial order being placed in April to make use of the early bird price!! Anyway my advise would be call the ticket office if you are still waiting, as I cannot believe I am the only one this will happen to.

  • Have one out of three paid for- Told by the ticket office that they were posted last week but if they don't arrive by tomorrow I should call and they will post them again- first class!

    So if they haven't already arrived why would I want them posted again.......where the hell are all the season tickets?........... Isn't this a bit of a waste of time and money ?...........why so late when we paid earlier than ever?...........Why would I want to spend my Wednesday afternoon on the phone again?............Who is responsible for this debacle and when are they going to apologise?

    One last thing but have club employed an extra from the Harribo ads to produce their answerphone messages?

    With all due respect the season doesn't start until Saturday and it's only Tuesday. There is, in reality, no need to receive your ticket before Friday. They have changed the system which will have caused some teething problems. Worst case scenario you need to get to the ground a little earlier on Saturday. It's not as though you're dying and waiting for life saving medication is it?

    Also April is far from being the earliest ever. One year they demanded payment by Jan 31st.

    I assume you have yours then? I assume you haven't had the joy of trying to ring the ticket office?

    This has clearly been badly implemented and yes I think the prospect of the club having to resend a large number of season tickets three days before the season is waste of time effort and money and would be totally unacceptable anywhere else

    Will they open the ticket office on Thursday afternoon? Will they have extra Staff on Saturday to deal with the problem? I guess at the answer will be no. The Valley Express coaches do not arrive that early, so how early should I get to the Valley?

  • This has been posted on the OS as a footnote, to the "still time to buy a season ticket article". It would appear that you will have collect your ticket.

    All season tickets that have previously been purchased were sent out on Friday, July 31st. Any supporter who doesn't receive their ticket by Wednesday, August 5th should get in touch with the Ticket Office to arrange a reprint of the ticket for you to collect before Saturday's match against QPR.

    It's to be expected, I only renewed an hour ago.
  • They took payment on the 31st March for 2 season ticket. I'm 99% sure they will not turn up tomorrow.
