Hi all, I have some excellent news (well it is for me) I had another echogram in January and the results came back this morning, my heart is now working at 45% capacity and has smashed the 35% that the cardiologist was hoping I would get to (last September) and hopefully maintain. Well not only did I maintain it I have gone 10% better. I also had some other tests to check potassium and kidney function levels, and both are now showing normal. My INR which needs to be between 2.5 and 3.5 also came back today at 2.7!! In conclusion they have decided that as my heart is nearly normal again (normal being 50-55%) and so much better than the 18% when admitted, I will have a further cardioversion to try and get my heart back into rhythm again, with the thought that this may well work and this time stay (in rhythm). As you have all followed me since Dec 14 when I was admitted I thought it would be good to share this news with you all.
As an aside....my final total for the Peak district walk I did last Saturday and the auction for Jason Euell's shirt was an amazing £1100.......thank you all so much, you will save lives is all I can tell you.
Now come Charlton, lets get 3 points tomorrow please!!!
