If it's in the Mirror I can't help thinking the youth will have moved on to other slang.
  • Racehorse owners Paul and Clare Rooney have advised that they do not want their horses to race at Cheltenham

BBC horse racing correspondent Cornelius Lysaght: That racehorse owners of such stature have made what has to be seen as a most dramatic move is just what Cheltenham absolutely didn't need when it is under plenty of scrutiny.

  • We're fortunate enough to have plenty of these running wild in our garden. Beautiful birds.

  • I was out at dusk with JJ walking through a farmers field when he must have spooked one settling down for the night. It frightened the fecking life out of me and him, the pair of us took off like scolded cats only to look back and see what it was and slow down like people do when they miss a bus! :)
  • Have client meeting/site visit in Glasgow today and bumped into my brother in law at City Airport who was also going up there for work on the same flight.

Was planning to do a tour of Hampden park this afternoon but have managed to get the meeting finished fairly quickly and am meeting him for a long boozy lunch at a steak house instead.

Not a fan of foxes but driving to 5 a side tonight and turn right out of the Barnehurst shops and come to a stop. Up ahead at the zebra crossing I see a fox waiting on the pavement and with a queue of cars now stopped, it makes its way across the zebra crossing, turns right and carries on down the road.

  • Being asked today to be the assessor for the charity our dogs represent. Chuffed to bits, our dogs earlier today when we popped into a local pets store posing for photos. They've built quite a little fan club locally amongst the youngsters.

  • It made me smile this morning to read of the Kiwi reaction to the obstreperous English family touring their land. They had it seemed upset many locals and left a whole host of low level crime in their wake.

Police and immigration officials simply deported them, whilst the mayor of Auckland summed up the situation perfectly, "What a bunch of arseholes." How refreshingly simple and to the point.

They weren’t English, they were Irish traveller

  • Got an email today saying I've got tickets for me and the wife to see the third day of the England v Ireland Test at Lords.
Brilliant. Just hope it gets to day 3 given how quickly the Windies beat England today!
Really looking forward to it and to having great craic with the Irish fans.
    It'll be deadly.
