Just loved it when he asked the judge if he could have 5 mins alone with him. Can imagine him walking into a room with a baseball bat & knuckledusters.
being sent to check the state of the biscuit barrel, believing it to be empty, and finding a forgotten tunnocks caramel wafer "sorry dear, nothing here"

Making it from platform 1 to platform 6 at London Bridge to swap a slow to a fast train to my station with a minute to make it between both platforms. Now need oxygen....
Saw a poster on the train earlier for a dogs charity and it had a picture of a dog with a cut on its leg and someone had turned it into a charlton tattoo!
Came here to post that. Browsing CL sporadically at points in the day but missing entirely the developments until clicking on that thread just now. Get in.
Picture the scene: crowded platform at Chelmsford. I'm waiting for the end carriage. The announcement comes out that the train will actually be running eight and not twelve carriages. And why not? It's only fucking rush hour. Everyone waiting for the four end carriages has to bunch up in the middle where the doors are supposed to end up. But not me. I know the door position is different on the 8 carriage train. I wait where noone else dares to wait. The train arrives, and the door finishes just to my side. I get ticket someone out. I'm a gentleman. I pile on before everyone else, still trying to move to the doors. Too late. I shut them, and will a primal roar moon their angry faces as the train pulls away*
Tough one really. Goes without saying any of the wealthy trophy hunters deserve what they get.
With poachers (excuse my ignorance) I'd imagine it's purely poverty driven and out of desperation to feed themselves or their kids. May be wrong though and if just done out of greed then I'd have no sympathy.
The bloke in the blue Joma CAFC bench coat, lower north F block, sits behind the stairwell at the back, his random shouts are getting funnier by the week.
Talking of Joma coats I seem to have a grey one, the size of a marquee. Not sure when I got it, how I got it, but its there. I'm not a lightweight but this is for a biggun. If anyone is in the market for an enormous coat from bygone days in damn fine condition let me know and we'll wheel and deal.
Did my motorcycle theory yesterday - hadn't even picked up The Highway Code since I bought it a few weeks ago. I'd installed an Android app last week, and made a point of doing some practice questions every time I went to the bog.. managed to get 100% in the multiple choice, and beat the hazard perception pass mark by quite a decent margin too.
Going to the pub with Mrs Stig for our regular Friday lunch. To avoid a wait, she phoned ahead with our food orders. When we arrived, I felt starving. As I sat down ready to start my pre-poured Guinness the landlord said to me, 'I couldn't remember whether it was sausages or ham you wanted with your egg and chips, so I've done you both'! Nice one.
