  • If big games are your thing, ESO is massive, and I mean stupidly big. I have completed the initial main story and I have only covered about 1/5 of the world, without even going into great depth in the areas I have touched
  • Anyone played the metal gear solid...is it any good?

The demo (Ground Zeroes) is pretty good. A few annoying bits (FOV around certain corners is pretty terrible, leading you to walk straight in front of guards you ought to be able to see) but a solid game, I'm sure the full game will live up to the hype.
  • I'm quite looking forward to the next Hitman game. Enjoyed Absolution although I don't think it was that well received generally.

    Has got outstanding reviews.

Looks cracking. I'm buying as soon as I get paid next week.

Wasn't a big fan of sneaking around type games, but after playing a few Assassins games and the last Far Cry I've changed my tune.

It's good. It's open world so the story gets lost a bit due to countless side missions (rescue that prisoner, blow up that tank, knock that bear unconscious) but there's loads of different ways to meet objectives if you don't fancy crawling round jungles all day. Plus it's Metal Gear so it's also completely batshit. You haven't lived until you've tranquilised a donkey and used a giant balloon to drag them over to your secret oil rig base in the middle of the Seychelles. Can't figure out what the hell's going on but I'm enjoying myself
  • Any PS4 or Xbox one games that are due to come out before Christmas that people are really looking forward too, or games you've bought in the last 6 months you'd recommend?

Destiny, MGS, ESO, FIFA, Madden, MLB, Uncharted, AC, FarCry, Star Wars, GTA, Bloodborne, TLOU, Batman Arkham Knight, Witcher, FallOut4, THPS, NfS, Forza, Titanfall, Halo, Mad Max, Until Dawn, Gran Turismo (eventually). I think that covers most of them
  • Thanks for the comments guys. Will buy it later I think!

I'm at a point where I don't know if I have more to do on the main story or if I completed it!

Fallout 4 is the stand out option.
  • Has any one had a problem with Halo 5 on xbox one thru Sky broadband, where it wont play multi player?
  • So has anyone been playing Fallout 4? Got it for Christmas, have played it a lot ever since and yet I have only just got to Diamond City... Anyone on here got much further into the game? It's been a lot of fun so far

  • My son got Star Wars battlefront for Christmas, man I'm hooked, I love it, especially the online mode.
  • Black Ops 3 for me...
  • Yea Star Wars battlefront best game easy
  • As already mentioned, if you have a playstation and haven't played The Last Of Us, Why not?!

    Best game ever made imo

I just bought a PS4 and this game was bundled with it. I'd never heard of it before. I'm still making my way through it so no spoilers please, but after roughly 12 hours of play, I'm loving it.

My wife got me an Xbox One for Christmas, I would've got a PlayStation but ho hum.

Been playing Fallout 4 which is great. I went for Pro Evo over Fifa after reading reviews that said it was better this year. But it's very disappointing.

Oh and they just launched Netflix in Hong Kong today. Win

Anyone on Xbox One feel free to add me - gamertag: LeCheeseman
  • If you have Xbox Live Gold then Xbox store is currently doing FIFA 16 and Plants vs Zombies bundle for £22, which I thought was decent for 2 ok games.
  • Anybody got a Charlton FIFA pro club that try to play football set up.fed up with playing in teams where people won't pass the ball.

Help please guys... I have had a PS3 for years but for Christmas we bought my son an XBox One because that's what all his mates have got. There are a few things I can't quite get my head around and I want to make sure I'm not missing something!

Each disc you put in then has to download for a couple of hours using up storage space. On the PS3 you put the disc in and play. Is that supposed to happen on he XBox? He has a 500GB XBox so is going to run out of storage after about 10 games.

Can someone also explain the whole XBox Live and XBox Gold thing? On PS3 you can play online without charge but it appears that you have to pay for it on XBox? What's the difference between Live and Gold? It even appears to be the case that you can't play two player co-op mode on Halo in the same room without having XBox Live which I can't quite get.

Have to say I would now gets PS4 every time...

Oh by the way, Roland out.

  • PS4 charges to access online content now too. Also you download a section of the game to the PS4 hard drive too, same as xbox. Things have changed a bit since PS3.
  • Fallout 4 is very good, currently playing it myself.Quite hard, but lots to do.

My future Brother-In-Law got an Xbox One just before Christmas (I'm still on the 360) and when I was round on Xmas Day he'd ran out of space on the internal Hard Drive because you do have to download the game before you can play (He only had about eight games on there).

He went out and brought an external Hard Drive, plugged that into one of the USB ports and seems to work just as well

  • Yes annoying downloads on new games takes us a day sometimes because we haven't got fibre optic on our road. Also the hard drive is not big enough. But my lad bought us a hard drive that plugs in the back of it so we don't have to delete games to install new ones.
You can also have 2 accounts on new Xbox one.for one price don't know hair they do it but they now buy games on Xbox live which is dearer but download it to both xboxs.
