  • As already mentioned, if you have a playstation and haven't played The Last Of Us, Why not?!

    Best game ever made imo
  • gta online is only decent if you've got mates to play it with (heists are epic if you can get 3 other mates involved).

Just got a PS4 after having had all the PlayStations in my lifetime. I've only got Pro Evo at the moment - anyone recommend any must have games?

Gta online, dragon age inquisition if that's your type of thing, the new final fantasy too. Assassins creed is worth a punt, as is the crew of you are into open world racing games. Far cry, COD, battlefield and MGS aren't my cup of tea personally but many people love them. I'm biased but MLB the show as a sports game is bloody good
I love GTA and am considering repurchasing it. I had it on the PS3 but can't transfer that version over obviously. Big fan of the earlier Assassin's Creeds games as well. CoD will be a definite purchase at some point. Might go for The Last of Us as well.
    if you mean progress;

Yeah you can (well online stats)

    if you mean actual game;

no but it's well worth the re-purchase!

TLOU is absolutely wonderful for the story alone. The decent graphics and other nice features just help it so much.

    Recommend destiny too.
I know, love GTA. I'll definitely be buying it again. TLOU will be an eventual purchase, no doubt. Just downloaded the Destiny demo as well but haven't played it yet.
  • I'm addicted to Shadows of Mordor at the moment. Great game.
  • Bloodborne is getting rave reviews too

Not a fan of Destiny, but then again I'm not a huge FPS fan
  • Right.... Is Xbox one for £299.00 including Forza & Fifa 15 on 0% interest finance a good deal?

Hi All, need a bit of advice. I currently own a PS3 and want to upgrade to a PS4 or Xbox One. The only game I play is FIFA so does it matter which one I get?

Go with whichever console your mates have, then you can play against them.

I'd say PS4 over XBONE though.
I haven't got any mates sadly.
There's no difference really, if you're just going to play fifa then get the cheapest one? Or the one with your prefered controller? Or maybe an Xbox as it includes legends in FUT but considering they are so rare and that it's such a small difference (and FUT is rubbish anyway) then really there is no difference over which you buy. FUT is Fifa Ultimate Team btw (that rubbish money grabbing card game thing)

  • so is 299 for Xbox One with Fifa n Forza worth it on 0% finance?

Can't decide so over to you ??

    Here's advice without any bias....
There's several things to think about (don't let others opinions decide for you)
    1. Look at exclusive games for the consoles, and what future exclusives there will be, which do you prefer?
    2. Which do your mates play on?
    3. Which contoller to you prefer?
    4. The cheapest if you're short for cash.
    5. Other factors e.g Online safety? both have been hacked in the past (Playstation more seriously) and also paying for the online services gives you some free games each month, maybe look at past ones and see which one has been known to offer games you enjoy.

The first 3 points are the most important imo but if you're still stuck think about the others.

Hope this helped rather than saying one is crap and the other is better like a lot of others have.

I have an Xbox btw, but as I said don't let that influence your decision.

  • so is 299 for Xbox One with Fifa n Forza worth it on 0% finance?

Sounds like a steal to me

Amazed people will buy a PS4 / Xbox dependent on whichever there friends have especially when you can play online against people too. If you buy what your friends have do you get a free sheepskin coat? ;)

For me PlayStation is for your hardcore gamer while the X-Box is more a family console for everybody to play on, depends on your situation I guess.

People buy the console their mates have so they can play against their mates?

    Internet 'friends' aren't real.
And would you choose to wear the same trainers your friends wear or have the same haircut as them just because that's what they do?

I get what you say about playing against your mates but for me it's simple, buy the console to play the games *you* want to then if your mates have the same it's a bonus.
  • SO.... I chose to get a PS4 plus Bloodborne for £288.99 from Gamespot.

So when it comes I am going to trade in Bloodborne at GAME for Fifa 15. Job done.

Yes I would. Usually because my mates are pretty stylish, the 90's look is in right?

Bringing it back to gaming, I'd still recommend playing with real friends than internet ones.

The games are all so similar now any way.

Can anyone recommend any fun 2-player games on 360 or Xbox Arcade? Nothing too violent or competitive, would just be the Mrs and I in front of the TV.

    Thanks!

Can you get singstar on Xbox? Usually a good laugh

  • if your going to buy a ps4 just for that game ill be honest its not worth it the game is ok but so many features are missing from the previous versions that take the fun out off the game there are only like 8 courses and 8 characters, the career mode is ok but no near as fun as previous versions i would wait if i was you.
  • Not buying a ps4 until the last guardian comes out. So that'll either be next year or never.

I bloody hope it does come out eventually, Ico and SOTC are probably my favourite games and there's not a whole lot out there that's similar so getting a tad impatient!
  • Ico and Shadow were brilliant.

In other news... Destiny's new DLC is so much better than the original game!
  • Converted from my xbox 360 and got myself a PS4 from Argos last week. Cashed in 12 years worth of Nectar points to subsidise the cost. So far, very happy with it. I really like the feature of using any headphone with mic into the controller. Also, the new PS4 model is quieter, lighter and uses less power. Waiting for the Star Wars game in Nov...
  • Used to love tiger Woods but think mcillroy golf is pants. It's a demo, not finished, typical EA. Game skills take all of 15 minutes to master.. Yawn

Mire positively, batman arkham knight is awesome on the PS4. Huge game, huge variety
