Leeds v Charlton - Post match views

Another draw, but a good point on the road I think most would have taken in advance. Great to see Gudmundsson starting to find his feet again.

Gutting we had 10 on the pitch once we pulled ourselves back in it.

Good point probably would of gone on and won it if we had 11 men on the pitch for the last 10

    AT&T eh?
  • Decent, solid point. And sounds like we deserved it by all accounts.

Igor must be ready to start on Saturday. Bring him back in for George, and we are looking ok.

As i said after Saturday, a nice boring mid table finish will do me just fine.

Great point in the circumstances. Only 3 points away from 6th and much more resilient than last season.

Pleased to see JBG scoring some goals. We were due some luck with a penalty decision.
  • Great result after going behind twice. Not able to roll teams over but not really overawed by anyone either. This team are working for Bob which means that they respect him and are doing what he's asking of them. Happy with a point after the poor start to second half. Safe journey home from yorkshire to all those who made the journey.

Yep sounded like a decent point. Coq sounded good when he came on as did OO. Just need Igor up to full fitness.

Don't think many would've said we'd be 6 points off top come Guy Fawkes night. There's no outstanding sides in this division this season imo reckon we have as good a chance as any.

Glad we pulled it back after going down twice.

In all honesty, thought we would win tonight. They've been on a poor run of form, but considering the circumstances, it's a decent point.

Encouraging that our lads had the spirit to battle for a point oop North on a wet Tuesday in November

We keep playing teams in a poor run of form and can't win, Reading are going well at the moment, time to win
  • Good move to rest Vetokele... Shame about Wiggins just as he was coming good...great point and Coquelin sounded good.
Still in touching distance but we simply must win a couple soon to close the gap.

The loss of rhoys appears to be another blow. Can OO play LB?

A good away point though and still in the mix. 1.5 points per goal relates to 69 over the season.
  • good point , although they haven't won in 8, so a point is par for the course
but more than happy to pick up a point away from home
we're still 5th 9th and thats more than respectable
look forward to hearing the views of those there especially on how the new guys got on
saw the goals briefly on sky and thought maybe Hendo could have possibly done better with the Leeds goals
Gudmundsson's first somehow squeezed in and the penalty was cooly taken , think it was given for TBH being bundled over
1 win in 6 but only 2 defeats in that mean it's gonna be a grind

    0% top two ......... 2% 3rd-6th .........43% 7th-12th ......55% 13th-21st...... 0% Relegation

You can say that again Bournemouth are top. This is a crazy league when you look at the team's above us it's not like looking at man city/Chelsea and that. We are in the mix - am more than happy with where we are as can only see us getting stronger.

Although we need Igor to stay fit - we could be up there if he'd played recently, so just shows how slim the margins are and how threadbare the first team is. Let's hope Dr Quincy can surprise us.

Actually more pleased that Johann got us out of the shit tonight rather than Igor. His confidence might transmit to others in the midfield. Also that our new Coq looks like he will add more competition for starting places in that area too.
Again, a lot of positives to take from a difficult place to get a result from.

On the coach leaving. The first half was boring. We allowed them possession but didn't really look to hit on the counter. We made them look better than they are but Henderson wasn't really troubled.

However, you can't keep doing that and allowing space and not expect to concede. It was a smart finish but avoidable. That brought us to life. Gudmundsson was already our most lively player and lucked out to squeeze that in.

We were more in the game then Leeds scored a peach, no arguments. Our penalty I'm not sure about but the ref definitely saw something.

Likewise Wiggins i didn't see exactly what happened but quickly our players were asking the bench for a change. After that we were obliged to only try and hold on.

300 is a decent turn out. Leeds fans were fairly loud, albeit deluded as usual. We finished the game singing their 'we are the champions, the champions of europe!' chant. Tossers.

You've not seen us much this season I take it? :-)

Decent point but didn't sound like a decent performance and against not a decent team who did score two good goals it seems. Still the team has been unsettled by injuries in recent games and is finding it's way back so did well to battle back twice and earn a point. The luck continues and long may it.

Careful there @Henry Irving your stats are encroaching on @oohaahmortimer‌ percentages

Only one of you can take this mantle, there's no room for 2 at the top

Not sure what to make of things. As Ross1 says above, when we play out of form teams we don't take advantage. Yes, a point away from home is not a bad thing, but we said that against Rotherham & Brighton and most teams are putting them to the sword. I'd take a point if I was a Millwall fan tonight - 2-0 down with 10 men but Leeds are a team going nowhere & we should be trying to beat them, not just be happy with a draw.

Reading will be different gravy on sat & I cant see anything else apart from them getting themselves another 3-0 win. On a different note Saturday's game of the day sees the top2 playing each other.

Beaten twice in 16. Solid point in the circumstances, teams in and out of form all over the gaf, season could still be anything but our resilience is a positive that is for sure.

No way. Reading are nothing special and very inconsistent.
  • think on Sky they said Reading had scored 3 at home in 5 of their last 6

Please don't bring facts into this.
  • 6 pts off top but only 9 pts off relegation, how long before oohaah puts in a % for relegation?
Next sat 5% dec 25% March 40% not this season 30%
