I raised the question of the segregation and netting off at the FF which is in response to the A block now being fully in use, and no mention was made about restricting the use of the stand during an away sell out scenario.

It's not the club's decision, though, and will depend on circumstances, e.g. Millwall is not the same as Watford.
  • Ignore the above! north upper or lower your be fine

    This

  • fair play for selling out, good support from Watford.

Hope they don't sing that bloomin 'I wanna go home' dirge for 15 mins again though. Talk about 'look at me', if you wanna go home, you know where the door is.

London's a shithole, I want to go home.

    Very strange!

If they've sold 3,200 there will be restricted tickets available in the Jimmy Seed.

    Second...This again
  • `you'll never take the covered end'
`you'll never take the covered end'

I've found my dm's, sta press and Ben Sherman but can't find my red braces anywhere.

Keep a spare pair of laces down your pants in case old bill make you hand the originals over. I'm going to wear my A Block uniform, tank top, bell bottoms and Squire's loafers :-)
  • if Watford fans sing about how awful Charlton is they need to pause and consider a bit. Watford as everybody knows is the Crystal Palace of the North so I need add no more.
On the away fan thing though, I would try to be reasonably discreet and get a ticket where you can...I have done this loads of times away, and as long as you don't jab the finger and get all disrespectful, you ought to be perfectly OK.

Upper West at the South End is always empty.

Impressive show of support, it's rare that the JS is (effectively) full

    Hardly?
    It's not that far.

Will we sell our allocation for all the nearby away games this season?
If you can get there on your oyster, then we should sell out.

Watford fans are welcome to the place. A clapped out town centre dominated by a horrible ring round. Ugly town. Surrounding countryside is not too bad but thats not Watford which is a grim and and unfriendly hole.

If we're in the top 2 I'd imagine so.

some decent boozers in Watford to be fair.

6 or 7k at Fulham - Friday night and on TV may be a stretch

Funny on here sometimes, a Charlton fan gets a under 18 ticket at Brighton when he is 20 to save a couple of quid and gets ripped. A Watford fan comes on here asking where to sit in the home end at the Valley and is welcomed with open arms.

The Watford fan would be paying full price and the seat would just be empty otherwise that is the difference

Except there will be more then one Watford fan in there and if they score and jump around wind up Charlton fans possibly cause rows that's ok cos they paid a full ticket price.
  • North Upper. Colours generally fine too, keep celebrations somewhat muted but you'll be fine... It's Charlton....

I agree Nicholas i wouldn't like to end up sitting next to bunch of away fans possibly giving it large.

I aint saying its ok, but you cant compare the 2, one is someone trying to pay full price to watch their team play the other is someone trying to cheat their club out of money to watch the team play

Was thinking much the same earlier.

Yeah your right you cant compare the two, one's saving a few quid at Brighton's expense and the other potentially causes aggro in the home end. Say one of our East Stand Block A lunatics ends up punching a Watford fan for celebrating a goal near him, gets a ban and criminal record. But your right the one who saved a few quid is a thieving cheating fucker who should be arrested at once.

Our mantra is 'love and peace' man :-0

Talk about putting words in my mouth
I never once said it was ok but I don't get why you started comparing the 2 things, If a Watford fan I in the Charlton end and Celebrates they should be kicked out, but if someone punches him they deserve to be kicked out to, if it happened you let the stewards kick him out, but that's not the question anyway, why on earth would you compare the two completely different matters
  • My point was one charlton fan gets ripped for buying a cheaper tickets when he shouldn't have. A Watford comes on here tells everyone they are all coming in the home end and even asks which is the best stand to sit in and is welcomed with open arms. Turning on your own is my point

No, it's the Network derby. Even more at stake.

As long as they're paying full price I don't mind since we're not going to sell out the home ends anyway.

I don't know the ins and outs of the Charlton fan getting a cheaper ticket than he's entitled to but I think that's wrong and if he's doing it at an away game, I wouldn't want other team's fans to think that cheating clubs out of money is OK.
  • Perhaps Paddyp17 could mediate between home and away fans?

It's like some nostalgic rich northerner, pining for Middlesbrough, has had a replica built down south.

The covered end should all dress as skins for one game, just for old times sake
