East or west stand away fans

Hello, Watford fan in peace here.
The away end is sold out for Saturday with us bringing 3200. There are quite a few Watford fans buying tickets in either the west or east stands. Which is better for a friendly day?

West - in the East, you'll just have the sun in your eyes and won't see anything.

Wherever you sit don't celebrate if you score. Can't stand that with away supporters in a home stand.

West stand upper (south end) as it's pracitally empty up there......
  • As long as you don't act like a prick you'd be fine in either but id say West to be safe.
The East now holds a more vocal and potentially confrontational element of our support nearest the away end.
  • Ignore the above! north upper or lower your be fine

If thats true that Watford have sold out then i'm surprised to be honest as apart from one game in the prem back in 2006 I cannot remember them bringing over 3000 to the Valley in the last twenty years or so. Fair play to them.

West or East Stand. Makes no difference but remember to bring your red card members pass with you

Bloody hell, is the first time Watford have ever sold out?
  • To be fair the stewards should have no bother spoting them in the crowd..

There are 3,400 seats in the JS Stand. Not sure if the police will allow the club to use those adjacent to A block in the east stand, which may be the difference. The 200 restricted views have been sent.

  • They can FRO if they think it's alright to have them in the west near the away end.
I moved there this year to get away from some of our cranks, not to be surrounded by away fans.

I raised the question of the segregation and netting off at the FF which is in response to the A block now being fully in use, and no mention was made about restricting the use of the stand during an away sell out scenario.
  • Upper West at the South End is always empty.

Impressive show of support, it's rare that the JS is (effectively) full

It's the attraction of the A Block which will be rocking :-0

How are they buying these tickets?
I've bought 2 lots this week and been asked for my red card each time.

Is Steve Sherwood still your goalkeeper?

fair play for selling out, good support from Watford.

Hope they don't sing that bloomin 'I wanna go home' dirge for 15 mins again though. Talk about 'look at me', if you wanna go home, you know where the door is.

Will we sell our allocation for all the nearby away games this season?
