  • Morro will be going Huddersfield in January. I garuntee it.
  • To be fair I think big bob has been spot on with his team selection. TBH and bikey together looks good. I actually think that Gomez is more likely to be in front of morro at this present time.

Strange - he was captain on the pitch last year when Jacko wasn't playing and he's recently signed a new deal - it would be surprising if he was offski.

that's as may be but it says more about the weakness of last year's squad than anything else. He's not a good captain. You need a leader who will gee people up and raise spirits when in times of need - Morro is not that person. He drops his shoulders and becomes introverted - exact opposite of what a captain needs to do.

  • Captaincy should be with TBH. His determination shown before moussas goal against Wigan was superb.
  • Agree if Morro goes it would necessetate another signing. Don't think Gomez has the physical strength and ability in the air for centre back at this level just yet.

Graham would be perfect alongside Igor.
  • If we can't get Graham, i'd love us to try and get Tom Pope from Port Vale, think he deserves a go in the Champ.

At 29 years of age I suspect he is on the way down as opposed to ready to step up 2 divisions

  • My choice for POTY last term, so wouldn't like to lose Morro. Graham would be a great addition to the squad though.

Is there any basis in fact for this rumour?

We aren't in the premier league though...

At the Wigan game from where I was sat he shouted out whilst running up and down the line as a a sub " I may as well fucking sit back down" at this point henderson was being replaced by pope. To me no player or person bigger than the club. Two subs had ready been used. Sure, be disappointed but don't throw your toys out the pram.

but was Pope for Henderson our last available sub?

  • I believe so.
  • I think moussa and Wilson had been introduced. Not 100%
  • I love Morro but he needs first team football at his age! He's done great job for us and Powell will snap him up on loan then buy him in jan

    Not so, @LargeAddick‌ see below;

    01 Henderson (Pope - 67' )
    20 Solly
    16 Wiggins
    17 Buyens
    06 Bikey Amougou
    26 Ben Haim
    07 Berg Gudmundsson
    04 Jackson (Wilson - 76' )
    29 Tucudean (Moussa - 61' )
    14 Vetokele
    24 Cousins

1 in 3.5 games whilst at Port Vale is unlikely to result in much for us.

Remember the last prolific striker we signed from Port Vale - that didn't quite go to plan

So he should be captain? I'll keep Jacko thanks.

  • Danny Graham is a big name signing but not exactly prolific in front of goal these days. Quite happy with Tucudean even though he has not scored many yet.

Maybe Morro thought he could do a job in goal?

Point being that we need backup. If anything happens to Vetokele we are well and truly stuffed at the moment.

did he wanna go in goal then ?
  • Morrison and young Joe Gomez - who has been used at right-back so far - are the back-up options, so Peeters would need to bring in cover if Morrison leaves.

Would be strange but can understand Morrison's uproar, he is good enough to be first team at this level, infact I think using him sparingly would increase our chances of a few clean sheets. TBH & Bikey leave us with problems holding onto clean sheets from watching them, not to say they're not good enough but as a combo they aren't the most fool proof.. Huddersfield got to be odds on, he'd do a job there.

Hudson & Morrison would be a decent pairing
  • I stand corrected. As I said I wasn't 100% it must have been when Wilson was given the nod. Never had the facts to hand like some.

Didn't take long to Google the match report on BBC Sport website :-)
