Not sure when they're unveiling the five new players. Must have forgotten to do that bit!
Know you're joking but was never going to happen.
This PC was scheduled weeks ago so any signings come on the same day will be a very fortunate coincidence
And if there were players ready why overshadow the new managers first presser with a player announcement. Plenty of time for that as and when they happen.
No shocks there, which is a positive. Sounds like Bob knows what he's in for and what he intends to do, from RD's silence it seems he intends to be pretty hands-off, which helps I think. Hopefully we'll get contracts signed soon enough and crack on. The whole 'only one year' contract is not an issue with Bob, so that's good enough for me, no nefarious scheme just a different approach, if it works for them then let them get on with it.
Followed by Paul Green and 1 other Phil Parry @philcparry 46m New #cafc manager Bob Peeters meets the press. Hear him on @BBCLondon949 sports bulletins later.
As Goonerhater says above, going into training with 1 keeper and no centre backs at the moment doesn't make me positive.
No pills mate.
I didnt state from which low point I was feeling 'more and more positive' from.
The appointment of Peeters could go two ways. It could go badly wrong, or it could go right. I am still waiting to see how we look in pre season and for the first 10 games or so of the season before I try to judge. I know we have a very long way to go before we are ready, even to field a team. However, as I said, with the rumours of who we are meant to be bringing in, the signing of a player the Liege fans were seemingly unhappy to lose. The comments BP is making, the improvements to the stadium, pitch and training ground. The fact that it appears we may look to our own youth before signing someone is all a positive in my eyes.
says all the right things. Would like to know if Gomez has signed a contract yet. Waiting now for the new signings to be announced, can't see RD coming over just to listen to Bob speak.

Medicals take a long time these days, usually a whole weekend. Richard Wood knows that.

Not surprised RD/BP/RM didn't mention it if it's not a done deal yet.
All sounds promising though as others have said.
"aim to finish higher than last year" was a worry but its probably better than " aiming to be competative"
1 keeper and at the moment no centre backs with training starting this week i would have hoped someone might have asked about that.
Morro/Poyet the club have stated "its their call".

Just thinking he needs one of his own, a tad larger

As I say, long way to go though
