YEEEEESSSSSS Get in!!... So at the moment only Hamer and Dervite are the two to have jumped ship
Makes me wonder why if Wiggins / Jackson and Morrison were all happy to remain (i.e. I know Hamer has a chance to play in the Premier League but a very small one)
Excellent news and there are still six days to go until the end of June, didn't Katrien say something about the end of a June now what was it? :-0
lol! Was thinking this myself... With all the rumours going around about a few players coming in at once we could actually have our business done by June
If Gomez has a good pre-season, I could see him being the starter with Morro - given what the manager has said about using young talent.
Trouble is rewind to this time last season... Had someone said that Jordan Cousins (who is albeit two years older) was gonna come in and make the impact that he did would they have agreed or would they have been laughed off?
Other options #1 (for the sake of argument I'll only include those who are relatively tried and tested/cost us some fee in theory): Nego, Lennon, Fox, Harriott, Parzyszek, Church, Pigott.
Other options #2 (those less tested): Phillips, Gomez, Ansah - probably others in the development squad too, but I'm not familiar with it and these guys are the names that stand out most to me given either heritage or position in which we are wanting.
We have the nucleus of a pretty good side there. I'd like to see a goalkeeper, another centre back to partner MM, Poyet to sign on as well as another CM (or two maybe given the cover needed in such a demanding position), a good left midfielder perhaps and maaaaaaybe another striker. Also I'd like to see a fitter/pacier Ajdarevic back, that would be amazing, but wishful thinking probably.

Life at the Valley is certainly looking up.
You mention Wood, are you sure he is still with us. What happened at Rotherham after the medical?
Great news, always thought he would stay. Family man, settled in Newmarket, wants stability in his life. Only worried when Ipswich were alledged to be interested.
Hamer, don't begrudge him a PL move and I reckon he would have gone whatever we offered. Devite, I would have liked him to stay but I guess at the end of the day Bolton offered more than we thought he was worth. As for Wood, we will see, but as it stands it seems he is off so we need another two centre halves to compete with Morro with Lennon and Gomez as back up.

Now, young Diego.
Stop messing about !
We can live without Hamer and can live without Dervite but Morrison would have left a big hole in defence.
Lets hope Poyet is also at the table primed to sign
