Chelmsford isn't too bad... Bits I'd avoid at pub chucking out (and this is despite the place being an identikit town centre with nothing original about it)... Colchester is ok apart from the high street, which is like 28 Days later... But Hatfield town centre looks like it's in the grip of the plague1

Hastings not to bad ,been here over 30 years.Old town full of wannabe hipsters but ok for a night out.St Leonard's bed sit land so bound to attract the wrong sorts.Upper St Leonard's is ok1

Fair comments.....only been down here 8 years (Clive Vale), just 10 mins walk from Old Town, which we absolutely love, music, pubs, restaurants and all those events. think Hastings old town is great and despite the dog doo I love Burton St Leonards ...my other halfs stepfather used to own Marine Court and she lived in the Clockhouse backing onto St Leonards Gardens when she was young ..some fantastic Architecture in that partHastingsaddick said:

I have to say after growing up in Bexley and moving away years ago (now live in Weybridge, Surrey with my family) I came back recently and was shocked when i popped to Bexleyheath to pick up a couple of bits from the shops. And even more shocked when i went through Bexley Village.bolloxbolder said:
