    Were you underwhelmed ?

  • Quite a few, mainly sports stars - not surprising considering my industry! Lots of footballers, pretty much every top jockey and trainer (an extended lunch with Lester Piggott probably the highlight), knew Georgie Best quite well in the 80's, cricketers (once spent a few hours with the West Indies team in a hotel bar - Curtley, Courtney era) - and even last night I had the pleasure of a few hours in the company of one of the greats, Mushtaq Mohammad. Those into their cricket will remember what a legend he is, and I would add one of life's true gentlemen.

    Ravens Wood?
  • Jim Davidson & Michael Grade out the Valley, John Salako in East Surrey hospital just hours before my son was born , Bryan Hughes in Bluewater, Gemma Atkinson(Hollyoaks and Emmadale) , Cheryl Baker in a Valley porta cabin ! And Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy in a Kingston cafe in the mall , I think that's it

Yes but not in my day......Bromley Tech School, as was, just after moving from Beckenham.....Dave Jones was in the year below me...
  • Rod Stewart.....twice in one week.

At my boys football tournaments today and last Sunday.
Scruffy git had the same clothes on as well!

    Did arrive by helicopter though!
  • Is Philippe Starck famous enough? we are on holiday in Arcachon bay, and met up with a French friend who is lucky enough have a house in Cap Ferret. He pointed him out as an old guy rolled past on an admittedly stylish bike and sidecar combo. My wife rather unkindly observed that his style sense had not been applied to himself. He had a bit of a belly, unlike most French blokes of his age.
